A new Home and Away trailer teases a ‘Blockbuster Night’ of drama, with three episodes airing back-to-back on Monday, March 29th, and Lewis and Susie’s tense storylines taking big leaps forwards.
Due to the AFL, the triple episodes of Home and Away are temporarily switching to Mondays, and with it comes a massive hour and a half of drama that could destroy the lives of many Summer Bay residents, as well as bring an end to one resident’s life for good.
The new promo, which aired after Tuesday night’s episode in Australia, teases “A Night of Love” and “A Night of Danger,” while also making us wonder “Who Will Survive This Night?”
Susie McCalister is set to attempt to poison Irene Roberts later this week, as we saw in last week’s “Sneaky Susie” trailer, in scenes seen again in the new promo.
Since Susie’s arrival in town, the two have been at odds, with Irene suspecting there’s more to the “Real Estate Barbie” than meets the eye. Irene’s aggressive behaviour was recently called out by Susie, who accused Irene of having feelings for John and being jealous that she arrived first.
In upcoming episodes, John Palmer seeks to resolve his feelings for the two women in his life by holding a dinner for the three of them at Salt.

He doesn’t want to waste a perfectly good glass of red wine, so he takes it for himself!
Susie’s efforts to silence Irene, however, are far from over. Susie makes a second attempt to drug Irene, clearly seeing her as the greatest obstacle to her scheme to scam the Surf Club, Leah, and Justin out of thousands of dollars.
Susie runs up to Irene’s door, captures her from behind, and puts a blue cloth over her face, deciding that subtlety is overrated!
Susie’s get-rich-quick scheme is working well as she explores a bag full of cash.
There is some good news for Summer Bay residents. Dean Thompson has had a tough year, but Willow’s return to Summer Bay gave him some surprising joy when she persuaded Amber to return to town with Jai, reuniting Dean with the son he just recently learned he had.
Dean has welcomed Amber and Jai back into his life, but the two parents are grappling with a barrage of questions from their 5-year-old about why they don’t share a bed despite the fact that they live in the same home.
Dean has been thinking about the same thing, and he recently suggested to Amber that they try it out. Amber seems to have eventually caved in, as the latest trailer shows them almost kissing on the veranda outside Dean’s apartment, before succumbing to temptation in another scene later in the trailer.
Jasmine’s renewed happiness with new nurse Lewis is also evident as the two kiss near the beach.
Jasmine confesses, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been this happy,” before telling Lewis, “Don’t let anything ruin it.”
“Nothing ever could,” he responds, despite the fact that, as we can see later, he is about to sabotage their relationship in dramatic fashion.
Ryder will find love as well, as he and Chloe put their hate for each other behind them and pass at Salt.
Although nothing seems to be able to stop Ryder from being happy, we don’t think Jasmine’s newfound love will last. As the promo progresses to show off the upcoming “Night of Danger,” we see Lewis’s rivalry with Christian take a significant step forwards.
Since being struck by a car by gang member Paul in last week’s episodes, Ari Parata has been in a medically induced coma. He’s undergone emergency brain surgery and has stayed in a coma to give his body the best chance of recovery.
His friends and family are concerned that he is still in a coma more than a week after the crash, and while Christian and Tori assure them that they are doing all they can, they cannot guarantee that he will fully recover.
As the Paratas begin to accept that they might have lost their patriarch for good, Tane tells a devastated Nikau, “Don’t give up on him yet.”
“Please uncle, wake up,” Nikau begs, unable to let Ari go.
However, there is one thing that could undermine his recovery: Lewis’s full-fledged sabotage. He still holds Christian accountable for his wife Anna’s death, and interprets Dr. Green’s inability to take guilt as him seeing himself as God. He may appear happy in front of Jasmine, but he secretly wishes for the neurosurgeon to suffer.
Lewis declares, “Dr Green is done,” foreshadowing the scheme he’s about to implement.
In the coming episodes, things between the two get a lot hotter, as Christian’s anger eventually gets the best of him. Christian throws a punch at Lewis in broad daylight, catching him square in the nose, while their partners look on.
Although Lewis’ hatred of Christian stems from his sorrow over the death of his wife, it seems that he will not let other people’s grief stand in the way of his revenge. He is bent on ruining Christian’s career in the most heinous manner possible.
Lewis fills a syringe as Ari lies in his hospital bed.
“At least this way, your death won’t be in vain,” Lewis says, implying that he intends to inject Ari with a lethal drug cocktail. “Please accept my apologies.”
It’s unclear if Lewis wants to kill Ari and then blame Christian, or whether he expects Christian to die of his brain injury regardless, in the hope that the rogue drug in his system would prompt a medical negligence investigation into Christian’s care.
In any case, it’s obvious that Christian and Lewis’s feud is far from over.
In the trailer, Mac confesses to Tane that she’s pregnant with his brother’s child. Will Ari ever get the chance to find out now that Lewis has put his revenge plan into action?
Home and Away’s ‘Blockbuster Night’ airs in a triple-bill on Seven in Australia starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 29th, with some of the scenes teased set to air in this week’s episodes on Wednesday and Thursday. These scenes will air a month later, at the end of April, in the United Kingdom.
You will see the whole promotion at the top of the list.
