Christian (Ditch Davey) and Lewis (Luke Arnold) are both at odds in Home and Away, with Lewis trying all he can to get Christian out of the hospital.
His most recent efforts included injecting Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) with a lethal drug when he was unconscious in the ICU.
Ari, on the other hand, recovers completely and Christian regains his faith.
All of that is about to change when he gets a call from work informing him that one of his patients has died unexpectedly. The board summons him to a conference to discuss the next steps.
The patient had a number of cardiac arrests despite having no history of heart attacks, according to the meeting, and the board is starting to see a trend with other patients who have died recently.
Christian is suspended pending further investigation after the patient’s family demands an autopsy. Christian goes to Salt and takes to the bottle to deal with his problems as his future could be jeopardised.
Tori (Penny McNamee) and Jasmine (Sam Frost) are later supporting an intoxicated Christian home when they run into Jasmine and Lewis.
Christian, unable to control himself, turns on Lewis and punches him before being dragged away by Tori. Lewis is overjoyed because now everyone will see Christian’s true colours…
