Neighbours Spoilers – Is Paul Robinson about to lose Lassiters?

Paul worries that he could have to say goodbye to Lassiters for good when returnee Shane Ramsay pulls his offer off the table on Neighbours in the UK next week.

Beginning on July 18 in the UK and July 25 in Australia, these sequences will be broadcast on television.

As part of their divorce settlement, Paul (Stefan Dennis) just agreed to buy Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) out of Lassiters for significantly more than the going rate.

When Leo (Tim Kano) requested that Paul give David’s (Takaya Honda) upcoming trial his entire focus, Paul eventually resolved to make his soon-to-be ex-wife a solid, fair settlement offer that would provide Terese a fresh start away from the hotel. Paul had initially sought to hide assets from Terese.

Given that Lassiters is where Josh’s memorial is located and where a significant portion of Terese’s work history occurred, she has found it difficult to let go of the place. However, her friends eventually persuaded her that she can visit the memorial whenever she likes and that she can use the money Paul gave her to launch a new business.

However, it appears that isn’t the end of the story given that Neighbours’ run is now just two weeks away. Since Lassiters has new ownership, will the long-standing relationship between Paul Robinson and the business come to an end?

Paul has a lot on his plate this coming week with David’s upcoming sentencing, but he gets a pleasant surprise when an old buddy shows up in town.

He comes upon a loud gathering of people while wandering through the Lassiters complex as their leader pops a bottle of champagne. He sees that the man holding the bottle is none other than Shane Ramsay (Peter O’Brien) just as he is about to become irritated and order them to calm down.

Shane, who lived next door to Paul and was closest friends with him, appeared in the first episode of the series back in 1985. Two years later, in 1987, he left Ramsay Street, and he hasn’t been seen since. But now that he’s back, he’s eager to see his old friend and neighbour.

Shane isn’t simply back for a get-together; he has a compelling offer for Paul. He wants to invest in Lassiters and start a business with them.

In his years spent away from Ramsay Street, Shane seemed to have enjoyed a string of luck. Now that he has made a million dollars, he wants to invest some of it in the community.

Paul isn’t exactly rich with cash after just agreeing to purchase Terese’s portion of the hotel, so the idea of transferring some of the business to one of his closest friends sounds terrific.

Shane starts looking into Paul’s past, though, to see if he can still be trusted after all these years.

His conversations with Jane (Annie Jones) and Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou), neither of whom is Paul’s biggest fan these days, lead him to learn that the owner of Lassiters has been the subject of considerable controversy over the years.

It appears that the agreement might not be as simple as it seems.

Paul is certain that he will accept Shane’s offer as we approach next week, the show’s penultimate episode. He recommends that they play a game of blackjack for some lighthearted fun and nostalgia.

Shane is concealing the fact that he no longer likes their deal, though. He has spoken with many of Paul’s friends and family members, but Tim Collins (Ben Anderson), who is not a fan of Paul, has also been in contact with him.

Shane’s opinion of Paul has significantly changed as a result of Tim providing him with a mountain of damning information.

The following day, when Paul comes to the realisation that a partnership with Shane is definitely off the table, he mulls the idea of possibly having to sell the entire hotel to Shane in order to resolve his financial problems.

He will experience yet another shock as he discovers the source of these issues.

But things are about to get better. Paul gets a startling proposition when Leo (Tim Kano) arranges a get-together for him that could be too good to refuse.

Terese, Paul’s ex-wife-to-be, is also debating a significant choice as she mulls over a tempting new chance.

She is unsure if she should proceed, but Glen (Richard Huggett) encourages her.

The decisions Paul and Terese make over the next few weeks will affect people who are closest to them. What will they decide as the last minutes of Neighbours approach?
