On Home and Away (1:45pm; check our TV Guide for listings), Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) is still pushing for the involvement of the Police in order to deal with the blackmailer who has targeted his wife, Felicity Newman (Jacqui Purvis).
Felicity, nevertheless, is resolved to take care of things on her own.
She doesn’t want to take the chance that the person extorting money may make video footage of her sexual assault available.
In order to pay off the blackmailer, she has surreptitiously borrowed money from her gullible police brother, Cash!
Regretfully, Tane hears Felicity and Cash’s girlfriend, Eden Fowler (Stephanie Panozzo), discussing the money that Cash has borrowed.
Tane quickly figures out that the money is meant to compensate her tormentor!
Tane alerts Felicity to the risky game she’s playing.
At any time, the blackmailer has the right to demand MORE money.
Felicity does, in fact, get another text message shortly after.
At this point, the blackmailer demands $20,000 in return for his quiet!
WHY will the pair act now?
James Stewart’s character Justin Morgan calls an urgent band meeting and announces he’s located a new location for Lyrik’s maiden record release.
The booking is for tonight, which is the only drawback!
But instead of being ecstatic with the news right away, the band starts bickering!
Adam Rowland’s Remi Carter and Angélina Thomson’s Kirby Aramoana believe there isn’t enough time to plan the record release.
Stephanie Panozzo’s character Eden Fowler is opposed to leading a band Q&A during the launch.
Matt Evans’s character, Theo Poulos, the lead singer, is concerned that the record hasn’t even been given a title yet!

After asking Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) about her genuine feelings for her longtime friend John Palmer (Shane Withington), Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) feels awful.
After all these years, Irene had assumed Marilyn knew her a little better!
