Georgie Parker, a veteran of the Australian soap opera Home & Away, is well-versed in Summer Bay. The Australian actress has been a fixture on the show for over a decade and has no plans to leave anytime soon. Georgie recently reunited with an old friend at a memorable Home & Away venue.

Georgie Parker, who portrays Roo Stewart on the famous Australian soap, shared a cute selfie on Instagram with her co-star Ray Meagher, who portrays the show’s iconic Alf. And, although the actress is notorious for posting random images on social media, this one was particularly noteworthy.

Georgie Parker is commemorating a fun Home & Away moment.

Ray, of course, is the show’s longest-serving actress, having been on the show for 33 years and counting. Lynne McGranger, who plays Irene Roberts on the show and has been at Summer Bay for 29 years and counting, is the show’s second-longest-serving star.

Georgie, who has been on the show for 11 years, comes in at number 11.

Fans, including several familiar faces, were able to express their delight at the touching tribute.

Georgie is currently starring as Roo Stewart on the iconic soap opera Soap. Seven is a television channel.

Georgie is unlikely to leave Home & Away anytime soon, so Roo fans need not be concerned. In an interview with New Idea, the former actress All Saints, A Country Practice, revealed what she likes to see late last year.

As she relived her favourite storylines from her ten years on the programme, the actor became increasingly nostalgic. Roo seems to be here to stay!
