The day Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) double-crossed Terese Willis (Rebekah Elamloglou) in Neighbours, the truth about his tragic treachery came to light, Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) may rue the day.
As viewers know, the iconic soap icon had misgivings about Montana Marcel (Tammin Sursok), so he did some investigation with the help of John Wong and discovered that she was hiding a major secret.
Montana was in significant debt because her accountant had been ‘cooking the books for years,’ and she was on the verge of bankruptcy.
Montana was ordered to spend as much of Lassiters money as possible in an attempt to destroy Terese, so that when the truth about Montana’s financial troubles was revealed, he could retake control of his hotel chains.
Montana was arrested during the height of her Fashion Week spectacular on Tuesday’s (May 3) episode of Channel 5’s soap opera.
Terese was shocked to learn that Montana had gone bankrupt, much to Paul’s delight, and she spent no time in doing everything she could to keep the situation from destroying her and Lassiters.
Meanwhile, Paul went to see Karl and Susan Kennedy (Alan Fletcher and Jackie Woodburne), who were both shocked to learn that the money they had put in Montana’s make-up brand had been lost for good.
Susan, on the other hand, realised Paul knew more than he was letting on, and she quickly connected the dots, knowing full well that he had been aware of Montana’s financial difficulties the entire time and had done nothing.
Terese was taken aback when she expressed her fears to Terese, who was taken aback as the puzzle pieces fit into place.
Terese then confronted Paul, chastising him for jeopardising their company’s future simply to pull one over on her.
The entrepreneur made it obvious that she would not tolerate his deception techniques, declaring war on him for his actions.
Will she, however, be victorious? Or will Paul’s nefarious scheme be too impossible to unravel?
