In less than three weeks, Neighbours will be back on our televisions, and in the meantime, we may share 29 images from its first two airings.

The primary plots for the first few weeks of the show were announced earlier today, and now we can add some fascinating images teasing what’s to come.

Episode 1 of 8904 was broadcast on September 18th.
In our first episode back, a new family moves into town, and one of the members seems to have a curiously great interest in Ramsay Street. The people of Ramsay Street are in good spirits as they get ready for a wedding.

Sam (Henrietta Graham) and Jane (Annie Jones), however, are more focused on meeting up with Mike (Guy Pearce), who appears to be out of Erinsborough.

Photos of the couple on a video conference with Jane’s boyfriend, Mike, and Sam’s father have led us to believe that it was an emotional catch-up session.

The new images show the Varga-Murphy family, which includes mothers Remi (Naomi Rukavina) and Cara (Sara West), as well as sons JJ (Riley Bryant) and Dex (Marley Williams), who are in their twenties, as they exit their car and wave to a familiar person across the street. The Varga-Murphy family initially appears in the first episode.

There is also the wedding to consider. The bride and groom’s identities are being kept secret until the resumption of the show, but fans have their guesses.

Jane, Susan (Jackie Woodburne), Lucy (Melissa Bell), and Karl (Alan Fletcher) can be seen waiting impatiently for the bride and groom to arrive. Therefore, we can safely rule out each of them.

The vineyard is where the wedding is happening.

The episode for September 19th is Episode 2 / 8905.
Reece Sinclair (Mischa Barton), a newcomer, immediately has her sights set on Byron Stone (Xavier Molyneux) after only two episodes.

Episode 4/8907, scheduled for Thursday, September 20.
Two episodes later, Paul (Stefan Dennis) is chatting with someone in the recently remodelled Lassiters reception, possibly Reece.

While Byron maintains a close eye on things.

Paul thinks hotel visitor Reece is a spy, as we’ve already seen from Neighbours’ longer trailer.

When Holly (Lucinda Armstrong-Hall) is cornered by him and Lucy, they say to her: “I want you to find out exactly what she’s been doing since she’s been here.”

After that, we return to the comforts of the Waterhole where we first catch a sight of Wendy Rodwell (Candice Leask), who, according to rumours, is now running the establishment.

Karl is given a thorough introduction to the Varga-Murphy clan there.

Paul and Lucy plan when they are in Lassiters.

In the two years that we have been away from Erinsborough, Wendy appears to have solidified a friendship with Susan Kennedy.

What exactly are JJ and Dex doing?

According to recent spoilers, one of the family members looks “to harbour a suspiciously keen interest” in the neighbourhood, and all evidence points to one of the boys, JJ.

JJ concentrates on something or someone close to home in this fourth episode. He will begin a covert mission in the second week and inch closer to the truth. On that, read more here.

Karl’s daughter Holly has returned to Erinsborough, but there appears to be trouble in store as seen by the recent images, which show Karl appearing stern as he converses with his daughter.

Episode 5 (recorded on September 25): 8908.
After only one week, at least one family and possibly two are already on the move.

The Varga Murphys appear to be getting assistance from Karl and Andrew to transfer their possessions across the block.

The conversation between Karl and Toadie continues. Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) has been at Number 22 since 2013!

Boxes of stuff in the background imply that someone is either moving in or out.

In this episode, “Toadie makes a difficult decision that will affect his entire family after giving it careful thought.”

After living at the historic House of Trouser for decades, is he waving goodbye to Number 30?

The Kennedys are about to come to a fork in the road, and the latest pictures depict a penitent Karl.

Thank goodness he has Toadie to lean on.

Episode 7/Episode 8910 on September 23, 2013.
Mike will have an important proposal to make after their joyful reunion.

However, more recent revelations have revealed that things won’t be easy for the couple. Since Guy Pearce was not anticipated to return to the programme permanently, there was certain to be drama. As a result, there needs to be an explanation for why he is not residing on Ramsay Street.

The synopses state in the second week that “Mike has an important proposal to make,” but only one day later, “Jane and Mike’s plans stall as secrets simmer beneath the surface.”
