Ben Nicholas, a former Neighbours actor, and his wife Stephanie Lilja have revealed they are expecting their second child.

Following the birth of their son last year, the couple has now announced their second pregnancy on Instagram.

Nicholas captioned a mock-up movie poster with the news that “We’re having another baby boy!!” and referenced the announcement. I’ve had the best experience with @stlilj and am forwards to meet the baby in January.

Several others left encouraging comments on the post, including April Rose Pengilly, a former member of the cast of “Neighbours.”

Before leaving the Australian serial opera in 2007, Nicholas spent three years as Scott “Stingray” Timmins. Although he won’t be appearing in Freevee’s remake of the serial opera, several prominent performers will be reprising their roles for the new season, which debuts next month.

Former star Jason Donovan recently revealed that he has been requested to provide vocals to the re-recorded song, which would serve as the show’s brand-new theme song.

The actor who performed the role of Scott Robinson on the soap opera acknowledged that he had declined the offer, stating that the opportunity had gone.

They requested that I record the Neighbours theme for the updated edition, but I declined since I believed the time had come. Before paying tribute to his co-star Kylie Minogue, who joined him for the previous “finale,” he stated, “I don’t know what [the new version] is.

“Kylie works really hard. She has a great sense of humour and is a lovely family member. She simply keeps returning. Her affection, her fervour. She had a gift, and that was always clear, he remarked.
