The longtime Toadfish on Neighbours made an appearance on Friday’s Good Morning Britain to talk about the final episode showing. The Australian soap legend revealed to Ranvir Singh and Ben Shephard that he has learned a new “backup plan” ability but he was unsure if he would be able to “get a gig.”

He jokingly said, “You’ve got to have doubts when Toady proposes to you – you need run a mile!” in reference to Toadfish’s impending wedding.

Additionally, he exclusively disclosed that he will be taking part in the Neighbours Farewell Tour, which would shortly make its way to the UK.

He thought back on his memorable scenes and the effect of the soap opera ending.

I also do some beekeeping, so I have a few hives to make honey and all that nonsense, he continued.

But I’m also about to begin civil construction, in fact.

So I’m going to go learn how to drive trucks, excavate, and dig huge holes, just like every little boy dreams of doing!

“Amazing,” said Ben. It sounds fantastic. What about you and the Neighbours series have you enjoyed the most over the past 27 years, Ryan?

The plot about Sonya’s (Rebecchi, performed by Eve Morey) death, I believe, is the one I cherish most. I just liked it so much.

The experience of doing that with Eve Morey was truly unique.

But the 6,000th episode is the one that just stuck in my head.

Tony (Romeoto, Nick Carrafa) must have a nude lunch in order to please some new clientele who are nudists.

And Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), who lost a winning scratch card in Tony’s home, tries to enter Tony’s home again to retrieve it, but he can only do so if he strips off.

“Alan Fletcher just being nude in my living room is truly what sticks in my mind,”
