A coma, a kiss and a plan: 8 huge Home and Away spoilers for coming episodes

In this week’s episode of Home and Away, Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) is mowed down in the middle of the road by a vehicle in the aftermath of the abduction. Mia (Anna Samson), Tane (Ethan Browne), and Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo), who are fighting for their lives, are informed that if he survives, he will have permanent brain damage.

Mackenzie (Emily Weir) is undecided about her pregnancy, but after an experience with Ari, she makes a decision. In addition, Ryder (Lukas Radovich) is perplexed after Chloe (Sam Barrett) demonstrates unusual behaviour.

Here’s what’s coming up on Home and Away in the coming week.

After being struck by a driver, Ari’s life is on the table.

Mia and Chloe left the house after the shocking abduction, leaving Ari heartbroken. His fears are dashed, however, when a car targets him in a deliberate hit-and-run, leaving him dead on the side of the road. Christian (Ditch Davey) discovers he has a bleed on the brain and the diagnosis looks grim despite Nikau and Bella rushing him to the hospital…

Mackenzie makes a choice about her pregnancy.

Mackenzie (Patrick O’Connor) recently informed Dean (Patrick O’Connor) of her pregnancy news, and her brother is saddened to hear that she has no plans to inform Ari. As he runs into Ari, he discovers that his friendship with Mia has also failed, so he tries to persuade him to at least mend fences with Mac. When Mac runs into Ari in the Surf Club, he offers her a sincere apology, reminding her of the love she once had. Would this have an effect on her decision to hold the baby or not?

Christian makes Marilyn fearful of her health.

After Lewis (Luke Arnold) expresses his disbelief in Christian’s abilities, the neurosurgeon starts to question his own abilities and fears he may have overlooked symptoms in other patients. When he sees Marilyn (Emily Symons) in the Diner being clumsy, he suspects he’s missed something since her recent collapse. Tori (Penny McNamee) tries to shut him down, but Christian starts asking Marilyn so many probing questions that she becomes terrified…

Tane dispenses some Parata-style vengeance.

Tane receives a text from Paul (Jack Finsterer) gloating about the hit-and-run while waiting for Ari’s diagnosis at the hospital. He decides it’s time to take matters into his own hands and begins making preparations to leave. Nikau attempts to discourage him, but Tane just thinks of one thing at a time. He tracks down Paul’s hiding place and drags him out of his car for some Parata-style revenge…

Ryder is perplexed by Chloe’s unexpected move.

Despite some tender moments during their abduction, Ryder and Chloe’s aggressive relationship has returned in the aftermath. After an emotional day in which the Paratas learn of Ari’s hit-and-run, Nikau retires to his room with Bella, leaving the two alone in the kitchen. Ryder stands up to leave, but Chloe sends him a sincere thank you for his assistance during the abduction before gently kissing him…

Martha goes missing after being released from the hospital.

Alf (Ray Meagher) has been frustrated by his inability to see Martha (Belinda Giblin) while she is in hospital, but his frustrations turn to fear when he receives a call telling him that she has vanished. In the course of searching the Bay with Roo (Georgie Parker), Marilyn, and Ryder, he discovers his wife’s hidden caravan for Kieran (Rick Donald). Meanwhile, Irene (LynneMcGranger) is about to leave for work when she is interrupted by a wild-eyed Martha who arrives at the door without shoes…

Susie tries to persuade Justin and Leah to take out a personal loan.

Susie is eager to find a solution for Justin (James Stewart) and Leah (Ada Nicodemou), who have recently been disappointed in their efforts to obtain a bank loan in order to buy a home. She advises them to go with a private lender in order to entice the banks with a larger deposit. We’re left wondering if Susie is what she seems to be after hearing her phone call with a “friend.”

Willow and Ziggy have devised a strategy to re-engage Bella.

Willow(Sarah Roberts) has recently returned to the Bay, with her friend Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) beginning a relationship with Tane being one of the many new developments since her absence. Willow, aware of his shady background, which nearly cost Ziggy her work, expresses her disapproval, and the two become enraged for a time. But it isn’t long until the two realise how much they miss each other, and Willow reveals why she chose Colby (Tim Franklin). When she says Bella (Courtney Miller) hasn’t contacted her, Ziggy decides it’s time to devise a strategy…
