After her character, private tutor Beth Armstrong, was ‘banished’ from Summer Bay for having an affair with one of her pupils, she left Home and Away in 1994.
And Toni Pearen, an actress and singer, revealed 27 years later that she is open to returning to the soap opera.
‘Her affair with student Tug was really immoral, so she was banished,’ said TV Week, the I’m a Celebrity Star, 48.
‘But wouldn’t seeing her come back be nice? And she has a corrupt past and ends up in Summer Bay to redeem herself… With Tug’s baby? There’s a plot twist now! ‘Added she.
At the time, with Beth being sent packing from Summer Bay because of her fling with Tug, played by Tristan Bancks, Toni’s Home and Away storyline was scandalous.
Since welcoming her first child, a son named Lucky, in 2009, she has not been involved on TV. In 2012, she welcomed a daughter, Ever, with her husband, Will Osmond.

In a recent episode, while in conversation with co-star Abbie Chatfield, she discussed her dating life in Hollywood in the late ’90s.
‘Actually, when I was there, I never had an American boyfriend because American men are intense,’ said the former E Street star.
‘I know that I knew this guy and went to this café every day. Are you mindful of who Marisa Tomei is? She’s an actress, just like a well-known actress… Brother of her. He was asking me out. He’s been perfect. It’s been perfect. We just kissed. Nothing incredible,’ she added.
On their date, however, he made a bizarre request which had her running for the hills.
“He’s going to call me that night, and he’s going to go, “I just broke up with my girlfriend and all, as you know, and we got a puppy. And I just moved to this apartment and I can’t handle my dog. Can you take my dog?”
‘I was like,’ Um, sorry, I can’t take your dog with me. I don’t know you either!”
