Over the course of four years, Lydia Abdelmalek stalked her targets by posing as British actor Danny Mac and soap star Lincoln Lewis.

According to testimony given in court, the lady who used an impersonation of a Home And Away actress to entice victims who she afterwards pursued is a pathological liar who won’t admit to her crimes.

Over the course of four years, Lydia Abdelmalek stalked her targets by posing as British actor Danny Mac and soap star Lincoln Lewis.

After being convicted guilty of all six stalking offences, the 32-year-old received a prison term of two years and eight months.

After contesting her conviction, she was set free; however, her guilty verdict was affirmed, thus she was sent back to jail in May.

The duration of Abdelmalek’s sentence is currently the subject of an appeal.

Abdelmalek appeared via videolink in Melbourne’s County Court, where prosecutor Angela Moran referred to her as a “pathological liar.”

Because the appellant is a major liar, Ms. Moran cautioned the court, “Anything she says should be taken with a huge grain of salt.”

She “lived a lie” throughout the offence, delving deeply into the intricacy of the characters.

Abdelmalek refused to acknowledge her misdeeds when consulting with psychologists, Ms. Moran stated.

Timothy Sullivan, her defence attorney, claimed that his client was “in denial.”

She had diabetes, he continued, making it difficult for her to be away from her parents.

The victims of Abdelmalek are hopeful that she would receive a harsher punishment.
