Numerous unheard-of actors have become famous around the world over the past 37 years because to Neighbours (Kylie Minogue and Margot Robbie are of course the first names that come to mind.)
But celebrities from the A-list have also visited Ramsay Street occasionally!
Even though the majority of the famous people who have appeared on the Neighbours set had no acting expertise, their appearances were made easier by just acting like themselves!
Numerous well-known celebrities have visited Erinsborough throughout the years, including Shane Warne, Matt Preston, Russell Brand, and Lily Allen.
Due to the fact that Neighbours will end after 37 seasons on television, we’ve put together a list of the top celebrity cameos to appear on the programme.

Shane Warne
In two episodes of Neighbours from 2006 titled Ain’t That A Shane and The Warne Identity, Shane Warne appeared as a guest star as himself. At the time, he was raising money for his foundation, the Shane Warne Foundation, which helped seriously ill and underprivileged children, by stopping by Ramsay Street. Residents of Ramsay Street had the good fortune to witness a demonstration of Shane’s renowned spin bowl.

Emma Bunton
In 2007, while visiting London, Karl and Susan ran upon ex-Spice Girl Emma Bunton. Susan couldn’t help but gush and confess that she was a huge Baby Spice fan whereas Karl couldn’t tell Emma from a bar of soap!

Lily Allen
Karl hasn’t just fangirled over Paula Abdul when it comes to music! When Lily Allen, a British singer-songwriter, was being interviewed on a nearby radio station in 2009, she briefly appeared in an episode of Neighbours. Earlier in the show, Lily sang her smash song 22, then ran into a beaming Karl.

Matt Preston
The 2015 episode of the soap opera marking its 30th anniversary featured the former MasterChef judge. Since Matt played himself as the guest judge for the Erinsborough bake-off, he didn’t need to improvise much.

Brendan Fevola
The AFL veteran and radio personality Fifi Box appeared together in a brief but memorable cameo on Neighbours in 2017. Off-screen, Fifi, who was portraying a spa manager, instructed a customer to put her pants back on after waiting a little while. Brendan then made his blink-and-you’ll-miss-it arrival shortly after.

Russell Brand
The British comedian made a brief appearance on Ramsay Street in the spring of 2020 while on tour in Australia. Russell made a visit at the Erinsborough Writers Festival and engaged Toadie in lively debate.

Paula Abdul
Paula Abdul, an American Idol judge, appeared in a cameo in Neighbours in 2014 while she was a hotel guest at Lassiters. Karl Kennedy was delighted to see the singer when he ran into her and admitted to having a major love on her.

Courtney Act
The RuPaul’s Drag Race fan favourite visited Erinsborough in 2020 for their Mardi Gras festival. A few months later, she was back for a protracted run as the MC at Lassiters’ Pride festival.

Hanson
In 2019, the renowned 1990s band Hanson stopped through Ramsay Street. Isaac, Taylor, and Zac, a trio of brothers, performed for the regulars of Neighbours at Harold’s Cafe, one of the venues reserved for the Erinsborough Music Festival.

Clive James
The late Australian broadcaster made an unexpected visit in 1996 and mixed himself with a postman. Regarding his employment, screenwriter Helen MacWhirter commented, “Clive is such a character. I believe I scripted a lot more for his role than what ultimately showed up on the screen, so I’d say some of Clive’s best work may have been left on the cutting room floor, from what I can remember.”
