The phrases of the week in Neighbours are miscommunications, underhanded methods, and bad guy behaviour. Toadie (Ryan Moloney) is embroiled in a humiliating misunderstanding that could have long-term consequences, Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) is going to great lengths to save Harlow (Jemma Donnovan), and Ned (Ben Hall) is putting his life on the line. Oh, no.

Paul, oh Paul. He’s horrible even when he’s excellent. The businessman is determined to save Harlow from Brent’s grasp, but his schemes to accomplish this are heinous. Family means everything to him, despite his flaws, and he’ll go to any length to defend it, even if it means wrecking someone else’s life.

Toadie finds himself in a dilemma when his loved ones notice he’s seeing someone and come to a hasty conclusion. Can Toadie put things right? It’s a situation that could have terrible ramifications.

When Ned realises he’s getting feelings for someone other than Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) and is on the verge of acting on them, he’s in a dilemma. Is he going to be able to stop himself in time?

Hendrix (Benny Turland) reveals his true feelings to Mackenzie (Georgie Stone). Is she, on the other hand, feeling the same way?

And during a volleyball game, Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes) proves to be a nightmare.

To save Harlow, Paul throws Brent under the bus.

Paul is hell-bent on separating Harlow from Brent, whom he considers a waste of space. When Harlow learns through Terese that her grandfather is facing financial issues, she softens even more, and when Brent tells her how appreciative he is for Paul’s legal assistance, she softens even more. Neither of them have any idea what Paul is up to – he goes to Holden to persuade him to amend his tale to include Brent. When Harlow discovers that Holden has altered his statement, she is distraught since it means Brent will be gone for a long time. Paul is left feeling horrible about his deeds, but even that isn’t enough to deter him.

Bea’s first podcast to damage her romance?

Bea is set to launch her first podcast, and though she is excited, she is also nervous. Susan listens to it just before it airs and is taken aback by some of Bea’s comments regarding Levi. It’s too late; the recording is going live, and Levi is forced to learn that his lover will never trust him. He’s upset, and she attempts to reassure him that it’s not the end of the world, but Levi can’t get her words out of his head. Levi is distracted during a volley game while ruminating over them, and Kyle’s face takes the brunt of Levi’s preoccupation.

Nicolette is a fun sponge
Nicolette is really enthusiastic about the upcoming volleyball tournament and volunteers to coach Chloe and Aaron. They have no idea how fiercely competitive she is and eagerly join up for her advice. But, as her vicious competitive side surfaces, they rapidly realise their error, and they are left regretting their life choices. When she wants to win, she is not amusing.

Hendrix and Mack give in to the truth

Mack is taken aback when Hendrix tells her how he genuinely feels, and she doesn’t know what to reply at first. He’s a little shaken by the idea that his feelings are left unresolved, but she only wants some time to think about it. She realises, after a good talk with Yashvi, that she has strong feelings for Hendrix as well. Is she prepared to inform him?

Misunderstanding means misery for Mel and Toadie

Toadie is in a bit of a pickle. He’s pleased with how things are going with Mel and suggests that they go further, but a misunderstanding leads him to feel she’s dismissing him. He hides behind his manly pride, acting as if he’s content to keep it all a secret. However, their secrecy is a major problem. Mackenzie is aware that something is wrong with Toadie, but she is unsure what it is. She jumps to conclusions when she learns he has a work appointment with Angelia Lane and informs Susan and Karl that Toadie is dating Susan’s enemy. Susan is taken aback, but she chooses to swallow her disapproval of Toadie’s love choices for the sake of his happiness, and tells Angela she approves.

Ned to cheat on Yashvi?

Things are heating up between Ned and Sheila C when they have a strong connection during a discussion about the gallery’s design. They’re both disturbed by the sexual tension and try to ignore it, but Yashvi is completely unaware of what’s going on. She’s becoming closer to Sheila C as well. She begins gushing to Ned about her new acquaintance, utterly oblivious to the fact that she is causing him to realise everything he enjoys about Sheila C. Is she on the verge of losing her partner to the newcomer?
