“It’s been difficult.”

Spoilers for Neighbours are below.

Although Neighbours is renowned for its bizarre plots, Paul and Terese becoming parents was one that we could not have foreseen for the program is 40th anniversary!

However, it is precisely what occurs the following week when Chelsea brings her newborn boy, Thomas, and a DNA test indicates that Paul is the father.

Terese was unprepared for Paul’s ex to return to haunt them so soon after their renewed romance, so it is definitely a shock.

However, Rebekah Elmaloglou, star of Neighbours, tells us in an interview with Inside Soap that Terese and Paul had been considering expanding their family for a while.

As we check up with the actor, she giggles, “One of the show is producers constantly saying to me, ‘Terese should have a baby!'” “And I have to tell him over and over again that it is not even feasible, mate, I just went through the menopause!

“Look, I believe that she is content at this point as long as she is with Paul. She brings her framed picture of a bucking bronco!

“I believe Nell is the sole reason she is worried about moving into the penthouse. Even while Nell is still a top priority, she does occasionally lose sight of it due to the drama involving Chelsea and the baby.

‘Right, we need to reprioritize Nell,’ they must say. Will Terese remain in the penthouse, though? Waiting and seeing will have to do.

Next week is the show is 40th anniversary. What was your favorite moment during your tenure on the show?

“Terese tumbling from Lassiters’ roof! I adore how Paul runs into the foyer, hits the elevator button, and gets up there to save her after spotting her up there, still just hanging on.

“I particularly adored Terese’s drunken plunge into the Lassiters complex’s small pool. I suppose each character would have a favorite, but I could list hundreds of highlights for you.”

What are your thoughts on the depressing news that Neighbours will be ending once more this year?

“Sadly, we learned that the show was being canceled once more when we returned from the UK tour. After being on such a high with the tour, it was quite the blow.

“I am thankful that our favorite show will continue to air for another two years, but it is been challenging to get back to work immediately away. However, who can predict what the future will bring?

“At this point, I am just going to relish the few months left in the filming process and eagerly await the next phase. We have amazing tales planned for the 40th anniversary, and I can not wait for everyone to see them.

“I am honored to be a part of this significant milestone. And I might even appear on one of the most popular soap operas in the UK.
