On Neighbours, David Tanaka (played by Tanaka Honda) had already been threatened by a fellow inmate.

David was unexpectedly transferred to a maximum-security jail to await his sentencing in connection with the killing of Gareth Bateman at River Bend.

But, following a frightening warning from another prisoner, the doctor is already concerned for his safety…

Outside, David’s family is trying everything they can to get him out of the maximum security prison.

Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), David’s father, is surprised to learn that an old nemesis, gang boss Holden Brice (Toby Derrick), is imprisoned alongside David.

Paul is desperate and makes an unexpected offer to Holden…

What exactly is it?

And, after what transpired between them in the past, will Holden agree to assist Paul?

Meanwhile, Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) attempts to forget about the David drama by getting hot and heavy with her girlfriend, Kiri Durant (Gemma Bird Matheson).

The tone, on the other hand, isn’t quite right.

In the meantime, Kiri’s connection with Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes), Chloe’s ex-girlfriend, continues to bloom.

When Nicolette returns to her church, she accepts Kiri’s invitation to join her.

Is it possible that Kiri is becoming closer to Nicolette than she is to Chloe?

After seeing Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden) feeling completely down in the dumps at Number 30, Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton) is concerned about her.

Melanie confides in Amy about her anxieties about competing with Toadie Rebecchi’s (Ryan Maloney) late wife, Sonya’s, legacy.

There are reminders of Sonya everywhere Melanie looks.

Melanie is saddened when Amy, who is well-intentioned, informs Toadie that his girlfriend is having difficulties.

Has Amy just made Melanie, Toadie (and Sonya’s) predicament a whole lot worse?
