Fans have long speculated that Sarah Roberts, a former cast member of Home and Away, and James Stewart are no longer together. Roberts has now officially verified this. The actress verified the information in a Stellar magazine interview.
“I would like to declare that I am no longer married,” she informed the newspaper. “It’s acceptable for people to grow apart at times… I eventually recognised that I couldn’t develop in this specific relationship the way I wanted to.”
After becoming engaged in November 2018, Sarah and James got married in Ireland in 2019. When James missed Sarah’s film debut in Wog Boys Forever in October 2022, rumours started to circulate that the couple had broken up.
At the time, the Daily Telegraph said that James was “nowhere to be seen on the red carpet” and that he did not have an Instagram following of Sarah. Rumours of a split at the time were refuted by Sarah’s agency, and the couple went on to attend the 2022 AACTAs together.
It seems that James last posted about Sarah in July 2022, and Sarah last shared anything on her account in February 2023.
For a while now, fans have been wondering about the couple’s relationship. One Instagram user recently questioned, “Is he still with his wife Sarah? I haven’t seen them post each other for a while now,” on one of James’ images.
“That’s what I also thought,” said one more.
A fan account for Home and Away responded, “They split last year.” “They do not post photos together and no longer wearing their wedding rings.”
Sarah’s supporters and friends expressed their support for the actress on Stellar Magazine’s Instagram post regarding their divorce.
“Yes, Girl 👏🏻 I’m really happy for you! Sam Frost wrote, “It’s so lovely to see you shine once more ✨ you deserve nothing but the best.”
Emily Weir continued, “Love you tonnes ❤️❤️ you are incredible xxx 🔥🔥.”

“No surprise there, haven’t seen them together in a while,” a fan commented. They were also not wearing their rings. She believes that a public announcement is required because she is so incredibly sad. Sarah, you are becoming more stunning every day. Keep your head up.”
