Home and Away’s Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) has received a warning to Cease seeing Maia, the abandoned baby (1:45pm – check our TV Guide for listings).
But Tane’s protective tendencies return when he learns that Maia has a fever from hospital nurse Dana Matheson (Ally Harris).
Tane makes the decision to disregard the police’s earlier warning and goes to the Northern District Hospital to see Maia once more.
However, Senior Serjeant Rose Delaney (Kirsty Marillier) doesn’t take long to show up.
She informs Tane that while Maia’s mother is being sought, the Police are working to place her in a foster family until she can be placed in a secure environment.
His constant turning around isn’t making the problem any better.
Will Rose have no choice but to ARREST Tane when he defies her orders?
Concerns about his lover Valerie Beaumont (Courtney Clarke) are growing for Theo Poulos (Matt Evans).
Valerie is experiencing yet another downward spiral as a result of the terrible events from her past.
The “party pills” she and Theo have been taking are starting to become more and more important to her.
When Valerie discovers that Theo didn’t truly take the last medication she gave him, she is not impressed.
Theo looks to his ex-girlfriend Kirby Aramoana (Angelina Thomson) for support and direction when he needs it.
Theo confides in Kirby at the Diner that he feels totally out of his element and is unsure of how to support Valerie, who is having problems.
However, Valerie just so happens to stroll past the window as Theo and Kirby are having a passionate moment of camaraderie.
She sees Theo and Kirby sharing a sweet moment before leaving, feeling betrayed once more.
