Tane is ready to take the next step with Felicity this week on Home and Away in Australia, while Nikau gains a new admirer.
When Tane (Ethan Browne) asks girlfriend Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) to move in permanently, the Parata mansion could get a new resident this week.
Flick has been living in a van at Summer Bay Caravan Park since August, and while she had brother Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) for company in the van next door at first, he recently relocated to the beach house with Jasmine (Sam Frost) and Irene (Lynne McGranger).
Flick has been staying at the Parata house for the past few weeks to care for Tane after his recent stabbing at Salt, but now that Tane is largely recovered, she realises it’s time to return home.
When Tane notices that Flick has packed her belongings, he suggests that she make an official move into the residence.
Following a rocky start, the couple has been steadily improving in recent months, and confessed their love for each other during a romantic sunrise journey up to the lighthouse.
Is Felicity ready to take Tane’s relationship to the next level?
Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo), Tane’s nephew, hasn’t had as much luck lately, since his girlfriend Bella (Courtney Miller) went off for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. When Bella’s former mentor Emmett Ellison (J.R. Reyne) returned to Summer Bay unexpectedly a few weeks ago, he requested Bella to follow him back to New York for a three-month assignment as his assistant.
Nik knew he couldn’t stand in the way of Bella’s plans, but he’d only recently obtained his dream job as a professional lifeguard, so he had to make the difficult decision to decline Bella’s invitation to join her in the United States.
The couple has made a vow to talk to one other every day for the next three months, but Nik is already finding it difficult to hear how much Bella is enjoying herself, fearing that she may refuse to return to him.
Nik continues to feel sorry for himself, but he puts his heart and soul into his work, and this week he pulls off yet another spectacular rescue when he finds a swimmer in distress.
However, it has unintended effects when he meets Naomi, a new admirer.
“Naomi enters at a particularly vulnerable time for Nikau, as he is put to the test during a particularly trying period in their relationship,” Kawa told Yahoo Lifestyle.
