Home and Away spoilers: Will Mackenzie Booth go to prison?

On the Home and Away television show, a horrified Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) attends court for her punishment.

When Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) and Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman) got up and discovered that Mackenzie Booth hadn’t been home all night, they became concerned that she had escaped before her court sentencing.

But when John Palmer (Shane Withington) informed the couple that he had located Mac unconscious at Salt, the pair quickly realised she hadn’t gone very far.

Mackenzie spent the evening drowning her sorrows in alcohol since she was both frightened of going to jail for organising the illegal gambling events at her indebted restaurant and also hurting from being dumped by Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner).

Mackenzie eventually dons her big-girl pants and departs to face her fate in court after Dean and Ziggy reassure her that they will be there for her no matter what happens.

Later, when Mackenzie returns home, everyone is smiling.

Phew!

Mackenzie is glad that she was able to avoid going to jail by paying a fine and a good behaviour bond, but her problems are far from done.

She still needs to figure out how to pay off the obligations that accrued as a result of the restaurant’s hazardous gas leak during Christmas, which was not covered by insurance.

When Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) discovers a note from the restaurant owner telling her to manage Salt while she’s in jail, she becomes uneasy.

Felicity feels bad because it was her idea to host the nights of illegal gambling.

Felicity informs her partner Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) that she is the last person who deserves to be held accountable for Mac’s run-in with the authorities.

Tane is hesitant to become involved after hearing the good news about Mac, but Felicity takes it upon herself to resolve Mac’s debt issues; later, Flick, a girl on a mission, turns up at Mackenzie’s door with a proposal.

Mackenzie is curious but wants to know more about what Felicity is providing.

Let’s hope the debt relief plan, whatever it may be, is this time legitimate.

James Stewart’s character, Justin Morgan, is eager to learn the outcome of the TAFE assignment he prepared for Matt Evans’ character, Theo Poulos.

And when Theo says he received a distinction, he is thrilled.

Leah Patterson-Baker, Justin’s companion, quickly figures out what’s going on (Ada Nicodemou), and she is furious.

She demands that Justin inform the TAFE of what he has done since she can’t believe Justin let Theo turn in a work that he didn’t finish himself.

Leah is certain that they must be an honest role model for Theo, but what will Justin do?

Channel 5 will continue to air Home and Away every day at 1:15 PM.
