Ada Nicodemou, or Leah, admits that she still suffers from imposter syndrome and would rather work than act.
Home and Away’s actress is thought to be departing the show.
On Home And Away, what happened to Leah?
Fans are curious as to what happened to Leah on Home and Away after she revealed her dilemma about whether or not to continue acting. She revealed that she still suffers from Imposter Syndrome in Mamamia’s No Filter podcast.
Lean stated that she isn’t entirely committed to acting due of this.
However, Leah Patterson, aka Ada Nicodemou, reveals her apprehension about quitting the show. “I’m still debating whether or not to pursue acting.” In a podcast, Ada revealed, “I usually say, ‘I’m acting right now.'”
“I’m not sure if this is something I’ll continue to do.”
Leah says that acting came easy to her and that she did not receive any formal training. She is worried that someone will notice how bad she is.
Between spells on Heartbreak High and Home And Away, she says she went back to school to pursue a more “steady” profession. She also has reservations about pursuing a job in the entertainment industry for the same reason.
Is Actress Leah Patterson Leaving the Series?
Home and Away’s Leah Patterson will not be quitting the programme. She recently renewed her contract with the show and stated that she will not be departing anytime soon.
It’s tough to picture the show without her, given her participation on the show since 2000. As a result, the rumour has caused alarm among supporters.
After her big role on Heartbreak High when she was still a teen, Ada won a position on Home And Away. The show has been on the air for 22 years, and it’s unthinkable to imagine it without her.
Leah also joked that if the show ended, she wasn’t sure if she’d be cast in another series. “I like television, and I like consistency.” And it has provided me with a fantastic existence.
“I’ve spent as much time as I can with Johnas here, in this country, and at home,” Leah explained. “I just believe it’d be too much for me to be hustling for different roles all the time while being unemployed.” And I’m not a big fan of acting; I’d rather work.”
Ari Parata, a murder suspect, and Leah Patterson
In 2022, murder suspects Ari will replace Leah Patterson on the show. He hasn’t been seen since the second episode of the 2022 season, when he confessed to Matthew Montgomery’s murder and was arrested (James Sweeny).
He’s been put on remand, and the Paratas have paid him multiple visits, but it’s all happened off-screen, which is rare.
Ari’s terminal condition was confirmed by Home and Away. He died after being diagnosed with pseudomyxoma peritonei, a malignancy that is highly rare. He’d opted to die on his own terms, surrounded by family, rather than undergo routine and harsh operations.
As a result, we’ll be bidding our goodbyes to the show’s lead actor.
