When his infidelity is discovered, Toadie tries to win Terese back on Neighbours the next week. Will she give him another chance?

Alright, alright, alright. The dramatic moment that everyone had been waiting for finally materialised last Thursday when Toadie (Ryan Moloney) planted a kiss on his ex-wife Melanie (Lucinda Cowden).

When we returned to Erinsborough in September 2023, Melanie and Toadie had already broken up and Toadie was getting married to Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou). Melanie and Toadie had tied the knot in the July 2022 Neighbours finale.

Having been duped by her ex-husband Brad (Kip Gamblin), Terese constantly worried that history would eventually repeat itself.

Since Melanie returned to Ramsay Street during last year’s Neighbours flashback week, she has been wary of her intentions, but in recent weeks, she has been spending excessive amounts of time with her ex-husband Paul (Stefan Dennis), which has pushed Toadie, her new husband, to the brink.

After hardly speaking for a while, Toadie felt that his marriage was about to collapse. He arranged for Terese and him to spend a night alone after telling Melanie he was ending their relationship.

His plans were always doomed to fail, though, because Terese was too busy worrying about Josh’s missing memorial plaque and her ex-husband was grieving over David’s (Takaya Honda) recent passing.

Unaware that Terese had actually followed Paul to a local tip to locate the missing plaque, Toadie turned to Melanie after finding that Terese had postponed their scheduled date night in order to spend more time with Paul.

After exchanging kisses, the couple went into No. 28 to spend the night together.

Terese quickly discovered the truth after Melanie’s confession to Holly (Lucinda Armstrong Hall) was unintentionally sent over the walkie-talkie during the Lassiters’ Longest Lie-In celebration.

This week, Terese is shocked by the confession and runs home, texting Paul right away and relying once more on her improper crutch.

Meanwhile, Melanie thinks that now that everything is in the open, she and Toadie will be able to be together at last.

However, things don’t work out for Melanie. Toadie reassures her that their night together was a mistake and that Terese is the woman he wants to be with, but Nell (Ayisha Salem-Towner) confronts Melanie and accuses her of ruining their family!

Later, Terese runs into Melanie and congratulates her on “winning,” but Melanie tells Toadie that Terese is the one for him and that Toadie isn’t interested in her.

Melanie later removes her wedding ring, seemingly ending their relationship permanently—albeit a few days later than planned.

Terese feels incapable of being with someone who would so severely betray her in spite of this. Later, she receives a heartbreaking visit from Nell at her new hotel room at Lassiters, who pledges her complete love and dedication.

After talking things over with Toadie, Andrew (Lloyd Will) is taken aback when Toadie reiterates his resolve to keep his marriage intact and rejects the notion of being apart from Terese.

Later this week, the gang locks Hugo in Slade’s car boot as Hugo (Tanner Ellis-Anderson) tries to protect Nell from Erinsborough’s famous bully, Slade (Charlie Di Stefano).

Nell quickly informs Andrew (Lloyd Will), and when Terese and Toadie hear about the development, they are horrified and startled. Their volatile relationship only makes the problem harder to handle.

As his family anxiously awaits the police to locate Hugo, Toadie wishes they could provide for one another.

Paul advises that a devastated Terese see her children in Adelaide in the upcoming episodes, telling her that she needs to feel surrounded by unconditional love.

While Toadie feels devastated, recognising that his wife is moving away from him and that her vacation has ruined his chance to win her back, Terese is enamoured with the concept.

Nell persuades her dad to fight after noticing his dejected demeanour. In a letter, Toadie begs Terese to meet him at the campsite where their first kiss occurred.

In the photos, Toadie is by himself at the campsite, presumably waiting for his wife to accept his invitation to spend some time together and work on their marriage.

Will Terese take a flight to Adelaide or will she meet him there?
