In Neighbours, Freya Wozniak (Phoebe Roberts) has been bound to a bed by the wicked Corey Smythe-Jones (Laurence Boxhall), who found her trying to free Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan).
As viewers are aware, Corey is on a quest to recruit Harlow for The Order. He’s succeeded in separating her from her family and forcing her to rely solely on him.
The villain took advantage of her vulnerability and persuaded her to accompany him on a weekend getaway. Meanwhile, his colleague Christabel Bancroft (Syd Zygier) has turned her attention to Freya in the hopes of luring her into the cult as well.
Freya, on the other hand, is an adept at playing games and manipulating people, as evidenced by her introductory plot, so it’s no wonder that she was able to see through Christabel’s apparent techniques.
After spooking Freya last week, Christabel went out of her way to persuade her to give her another try, and she started working at the foundation on Monday’s (May 23) episode of the Channel 5 soap.
When Freya noticed a cardigan belonging to Harlow in the backseat of Christabel’s car, she became anxious once more.
Furthermore, Chistabel’s satnav’s last known location was Daylesford, the same site where Corey had snatched Harlow away.
Freya’s alarm bells began to sound, so she went to Daylesford on her own, where she discovered Harlow, who was clearly drugged.
Corey stood in her way and attacked her with a watering can before she could rescue her!
Freya awoke in the so-called rehabilitation chamber of Corey and Christabel, bound to the bed.
Corey had already left the premises with Harlow in tow when she yelled for help. Is Freya in grave danger now that Christabel is on her way to ‘deal’ with her?
Could David Tanaka (Takaya Honda), who knows everything about Corey and Christabel, figure out the fiendish plan and save her before it’s too late?
Neighbours returns to Channel 5 on Monday, May 16 at 1:45 p.m. and 6 p.m.
