Is David (Takaya Honda), the good Samaritan from Neighbours, capable of murder? When his husband’s life is on the line, the answer is yes.
When Gareth returns, determined to reclaim Freya (Phoebe Roberts), his plot goes horribly wrong, leaving Aaron (Matt Wilson) and Levi (Richie Morris) fighting for their lives.
Aaron is left in severe condition during the River Bend drama after a brutal beating from Gareth, inflicted with a tyre iron when Aaron tries to free Freya from Gareth’s insane grip. David is on his way to the lodge, unaware of the tragedy happening around him, to tell Aaron he loves him and to finally clear the air. However, David is driving along when he comes across Aaron’s lifeless body beside the road. He leaps into action to save his lover, but Aaron is in grave danger and need immediate medical attention.
Gareth, on the other hand, is the one who dies, and David had something to do with it.
When David returns to Erinsborough, he is sick to his stomach with guilt. He’s a doctor, and his job is to save people’s lives. Freya reminds him that Gareth was never going to survive in the first place, and it’s not David’s responsibility. David, on the other hand, has strong feelings regarding the events that led to Gareth’s death. Is he going to have to confess because of his guilt?
The coroner’s probe into Gareth’s death begins, and David appears to be on the verge of breaking down. He and Freya will be questioned again after a preliminary round of interviews. Freya can tell he’s about to snap, so she has to find a way to silence him. Is David’s guilt going to get the best of him?
