Neighbours is presently planning a UK theatre tour in advance of the show’s cancellation in August.

The trip, which will begin in March of next year, will commemorate the soap’s nearly 40-year run on television.

For Neighbours’ 35th anniversary, a special Live in Conversation presentation was scheduled, but it was cancelled, along with many other events, due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

According to Digital Spy, the show has been changed to coincide with the cancellation of the soap.

‘It’s when my professional journey began.’ I’d been asked to return on several occasions over the years and debated whether it was the proper thing to do, but once I realised the show was coming to an end, I knew I had no choice.

‘While I’ve seen many of the cast members I worked with on the show over the years, there’s nothing like being back here with everyone.’

On August 1, the final episode of Neighbours will air.
