Home and Away star Courtney Miller announces she’s leaving the soap after four years playing Bella Nixon

Courtney Miller, who starred in the Australian soap opera Home and Away, has announced her departure from Summer Bay.

The 26-year-old actress announced her departure from the Channel Seven soap after four years as Bella Nixon on Instagram.

‘To the time of my life,’ Courtney, who joined the ensemble in 2018, penned in her farewell statement.

‘Thank you, @homeandaway,’ she added. Bella, always and forever.’

Courtney continued by thanking her castmates and mentioning other crew personnel.

‘But most importantly… to the loved ones I made,’ she continued, mentioning several of the producers.

Fans rushed to convey their condolences to the actress.

‘OMG Sarah Roberts, one of the co-stars, commented, “My sweet river sis x.”

‘I’m going to miss you playing Bella,’ said another fan. ‘I appreciate you taking on the role of her and bringing her to life.’ ‘Best of luck with the next chapter.’

After being offered a position in New York, Courtney’s character, a passionate photographer, bad farewell to Summer Bay.

Her departure from Home and Away comes just a month after her on-screen and off-screen friend Lukas Radovich left the programme after five years.

‘Wow, what a fantastic journey. I’ll make it brief because I can’t adequately articulate how the last five years have felt or changed my life. In May, Lukas stated, “I’ll miss the job, but most importantly, I’ll miss the people.”
