Neighbours hints at shock second target for scheming Corey

In subsequent scenes, as Corey Smythe-Jones continues to exploit Harlow Robinson, Neighbours will tease an unexpected second target for the evil newcomer.

Harlow (Jemma Donovan) met Corey (Laurence Boxhall) in London and has since reconnected with him in Erinsborough, but she has no idea that Corey is a covert member of the Restoration Order cult, which her mother Prue was a member of.

Next week, Harlow will face more heartbreak when Ned Willis (Ben Hall), with whom she has recently been exploring a love connection, decides to leave Ramsay Street when their fling is exposed in an unexpected way during Amy Greenwood’s fashion show.

Ned believes that things have gotten too muddy and that he won’t be able to make it work with Harlow or Amy (Jacinta Stapleton) now that the love triangle has been made public, and instead opts to make a fresh start out of town.

Harlow, upset by Ned’s leaving, decides to reconcile with her family.

Unfortunately, devious Corey steers Harlow away from them, still determined to complete his undercover goal to lure Harlow to the Restoration Order cult – and even attempts to blame her for causing damage to Amy’s van.

Corey’s deceitful behaviour eventually raises David Tanaka’s (Takaya Honda) suspicions, but Corey is focused on bigger matters.

Following her suffering at the hands of her ex, Gareth Bateman, and the subsequent blackmail that she has had to deal with, the cult member has seen that Freya Wozniak (Phoebe Roberts) is also having difficulties.

Will anyone be able to stop Corey from pursuing Freya as his second target?
