The time has come! Toadie and Melanie’s (Ryan Moloney and Lucinda Cowden) wedding day has finally arrived, just in time for the major Neighbours finale, despite all of the recent turmoil.
Toadie and Mel are anticipating saying wedding vows on the big day. They overcame Harold’s (Ian Smith) interference, in part because he was holding the wrong end of the stick, and now they had a clean path to the big day.
But as the time gets closer, the two start to realise that they are still struggling with issues from their past.
Toadie understands that in order for them to anticipate a brand-new future together, he must make a significant gesture. Will it function?
When an old friend shows up in town to support Toadie, they find out that Toadie and Amy have fallen out. Will they make an effort to reunite the buddies before he says “I do”?
When the wedding day finally arrives, Callum, another well-known figure, arrives.
Toadie is ecstatic that his son arrived on schedule.
He is prepared for the next phase of his life; he only wishes Amy could be present to share it with him. Will she sabotage their happily ever after as the wedding begins and she makes her return?
