Meet Home and Away star Lynne McGranger’s lookalike daughter who is set to follow in her famous mother’s footsteps

After appearing in the series for nearly 30 years, Home and Away star Lynne McGranger has established herself as one of Australia’s most recognised faces.

And it appears that her daughter Clancy McWaters, an actress who resembles her, 32, plans to continue in her footsteps.

Lynne is a regular extra in the soap opera and has a daughter with her longterm partner Paul McWaters.

Clancy, who also teaches yoga in Sydney, inherits her mother’s angular features and her recognisable smile.

Lynne has consistently declared that her daughter will become famous.

She is a triple threat who sings, dances, and acts; in 2015, she told Sydney Confidential that she was leaning more towards singing and dancing.

Clancy’s announcement that she wanted to study acting when she was 15 or 16 years old caught us off guard. But we are ecstatic for her and will be there for her throughout.

She has additionally appeared as an extra in a number of other vintage Australian shows, including Packed To The Rafters, according to Clancy’s LinkedIn.

A number of ads for KFC, McDonald’s, the Cancer Council, and Tourism Australia also used the blonde.

In October of last year, Lynne used Instagram to declare Clancy’s engagement to boyfriend Luke Dickson.

We are overjoyed for our lovely daughter and her wonderful fiancé on their engagement. Lynne captioned her image, “We love you both so much.”

Since 1993, Lynne has played Irene Roberts on Home and Away, replacing actress Jacquy Phillips in the part.

Irene Roberts was initially intended to be a recurring character, but soon after Lynne started, she was elevated to regular cast.

One of the Australian soap’s longest-running stars is the seasoned actress.

In her memoir Acting Up: Me, Myself, and Irene, published in 2021, Lynne discussed her battles with drug addiction and an eating disorder.
