Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart’s on-screen chemistry has translated into a real romance; on Anzac Day, the two were seen cuddling on a Sydney street.

The co-stars of Home and Away reportedly met for drinks at an inner-city hotel about lunchtime, where they spent the rest of the day getting to know one another before being spotted cuddling in an alleyway that evening as they headed home.

The couple’s relationship is merely getting started, a source close to the stars told Woman’s Day.

“They’ve been on a few dates recently,” the source adds, confirming Ada’s (46), breakup from 54-year-old businessman boyfriend Adam Rigby. “Adam and Ada split up in the latter part of 2023.”

Only a few weeks have passed since James’ 39-year-old ex-wife Sarah Roberts announced the couple’s five-year divorce.

It’s acceptable for people to grow apart at times. I eventually understood that I couldn’t develop in this specific relationship the way I wanted to,” the woman remarked.

James, 48, has a history of developing feelings for his co-stars.

On the set of Packed To The Rafters in 2007, the actor got together with his then-fiancee, 39-year-old Jessica Marais, with whom he shares a daughter named Scout, who turns 12 this week.

Following their breakup in 2015, he returned to Home And Away the following year and began seeing 34-year-old Isabella Giovinazzo, his on-screen girlfriend. Before getting married in 2019, he and Sarah also got to know one another in 2017 while coworkers on the show Home and Away.

In the meantime, he and Ada have been together for more than 25 years; they initially connected in 1998 while he was filming the Australian drama Breakers. Additionally, Leah and Justin, the characters from Home and Away, have been together for four years.

James has mentioned how Ada, who has an 11-year-old son named Johnas with her ex-husband Chrys Xipolitas, and he have become close because they are both single parents.

James comments, “Children do something to your ego.” It seizes control and forces you to decide what matters most in life.

“I believe that definition was discovered simultaneously by us.

“In order for Ada and I to get home and see our kids, we prefer to arrive at work early, know our lines, and have a general idea of what we want to do.”
