Fans were stunned by Kawakawa Fox-most Reo’s recent makeover on Home and Away.

This week, the soap opera star made a new haircut debut while visiting Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old actor from Sydney who portrays Nikau Parata often has raven hair, a style he’s kept for the duration of his two years on the Channel Seven soap.

The actor, though, was virtually unrecognisable on Tuesday as he posed shirtless for an Instagram selfie with bleached blonde hair.

Another person commented, “I don’t think blond truly fits him.”

It comes after the actor was compelled to apologise after fans reacted negatively to a recent Instagram picture he made.

On March 30, Fox-Reo posted a now-deleted image of himself working out with the message, “I love steroids.”

After the publisher contacted Channel Seven, the post was taken down, and Kawakawa later apologised.

He told The Daily Telegraph, “I recognise I have made a huge error in judgement with this message and I have deleted it.”

I truly apologise for my erroneous and misleading attempt at humour.

Over 2,000 people liked and commented on the offensive post in the twelve days before it was taken down.

Some Instagram users, however, did not get the joke; one said she was unfollowing Kawakawa, and another called it “idiotic.”

This must be a joke, right? One fan remarked, “Pretty sure your producers wouldn’t be fans of you pushing roids [steroids].
