For the second time in his life, Dan Ewing is about to become a father.

He and fiancée Kat Risteska are expecting their first child together, according to the former Home and Away star, who just returned to the spotlight on SAS Australia.

The 36-year-old, who already has a kid from a previous relationship, provided moving images and photos of Kat, 27, showing off her expanding tummy while the two shared romantic kisses in an Instagram video posted on Sunday.

‘The second miracle is on its way! @katristeska, Archie and Boston, and I can’t wait to meet our new little companion!’ he wrote in the caption.

Dan has a seven-year-old son named Archie, whom he shares with his ex-wife, comedian Marni Little, 39.

Boston, on the other hand, is the family’s black pug with his own Instagram account.

‘I’ve waited my whole life for you Angel,’ Kat captioned the video she posted to Instagram.

‘[Dan and I] are ecstatic to be adding to our family. Mummy, Daddy, and older brothers Archie and Boston are all looking forward to seeing you. Little one, you are already very adored.’

In December of last year, Dan announced his engagement to Kat, whom he has been dating since 2016.

On Christmas Day, he announced the joyous news on Instagram, including a photo of Kat’s gorgeous diamond ring.

‘All I want for Christmas is…,’ the star captioned a photo of her hand and jewels on Instagram.

Dan gave Kat an oval diamond engagement ring with a one-of-a-kind gold band setting.

It comes after Dan told New Idea that he and his spouse are considering relocating to Queensland to be closer to his son Archie.

The Covid-19 border restrictions, according to the Sydney-based actor, have delayed him from seeing his kid for months.

‘It’s been difficult,’ he admitted. ‘It’s tougher than I ever imagined.’ It’s difficult to be apart from him. You feel like you’re losing out on so much every day. ‘Video and phone calls don’t replace being present.’

He went on to say that, as much as he’ll miss Sydney, he’ll miss his son even more.

Dan also mentioned that moving closer to Marni and her new spouse David Robertshaw will be wonderful, describing them as ‘one big family.’
