After revealing their long-hidden romance in Home and Away, Levi and Mackenzie are fighting to keep their relationship intact.
Levi frantically balanced the women in his life for weeks, but is he feeling any remorse now that the doctor and Imogen (Georgia Blizzard) are no longer together?
In the midst of Levi’s divorce from Imogen, his friends are taking sides, and even his coworkers are giving him the cold shoulder. Meanwhile, Mac (Emily Weir) returns to work only to find Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) waiting for her, treating her like a home-wrecker.
The two are looking at a very dismal future together, feeling more alone than before and believing that Summer Bay is against them.
But they still have each other in spite of their situation. Mac is ecstatic when Levi sits her down after an especially demanding workday and gives her an out. She has never felt more certain about a man.
Is Levi reconsidering his decision to end his union with Imogen? Now that the thrill of the romance has worn off, is he bored? Did he truly adore her from the beginning?
When the fallout from her deeds finally hits home and the durability of the person she thought was the love of her life is questioned, Mac is left to deal with these issues on her own.
Levi knew his wife Imogen would find out soon as word of their affair spread, so he felt compelled to be the responsible one and tell her first. However, it wasn’t simple.
Tristan Gorey, 28, who plays Levi, told TV WEEK that his character is “well aware he has been living in a fantasy land with Mac [Emily Weir] in Summer Bay.” However, Levi is aware that all wonderful things must come to an end and that he must cope with the fallout from his choices. Eventually, the truth always surfaces.
This is different, says Doctor Levi (Tristan Gorey), because his marriage to Imogen was practically finished when he got to Summer Bay. And he’s discovered someone he could fall in love with once more in Mac.
However, he was aware that what he had done may permanently alienate Eden (Stephanie Panozzo)—how could her brother have committed the same act that their father had, which had destroyed their family when they were little?
Upon meeting Imogen, Levi quickly discovers that she feels uneasy but believes it’s just a resentment stemming from their previous disagreement over having children.
No, he admitted that they were ending their relationship because he had been having an affair. According to Tristan, it was an agonizing moment that broke them both.
“Although Levi has wounded her heart, he has also wounded his own, since this is precisely how his own father destroyed the family,” he remarked.
The one silver lining in all of this is that he can now freely investigate his feelings for Mac and determine whether or not this is the love he has always desired.
He remarked, “Now that the truth is out, Levi holds Mac close.” “However, time will tell how genuine their love is.”
