With her former partner Jean-David Blanc, the former soap opera star already had two boys, Raphaël and Solal.

Before making her feature film debut in the 1998 neo-noir science fiction picture Dark City, George first gained notoriety for her role as a teenage runaway Angel on Home and Away, which she portrayed from 1993 until her departure in 1996.

Her performance in the HBO drama In Treatment led to a 2008 Golden Globe nomination for her in the Best Supporting Actress category.

When asked if she would ever go back to Home and Away, George had previously responded, saying, “They have offered, but I don’t know.” At a certain moment, I attempted to break myself from my association with the show, but it proved futile.
