Four brand-new cast members have joined the programme as a result of several Home and Away favourites leaving Summer Bay this year.

The newest cast of characters will arrive in Summer Bay as a member of the fictitious band Lyrik.

Bob will be portrayed by Rob Mallet, Kirby by Angelina Thomson, Remi by Adam Rowland, and Eden by Stephanie Panozzo.

Rob has performed before, not just in Home and Away. He has previously made appearances on the television shows House Husbands, Winners and Losers, and The Rocky Horror Show on stage.

Rob stated that one of his life goals was to appear on Home and Away.

“The entire team there is wonderful to work with and highly skilled in their field. The show’s continued popularity is not surprising, “To The Daily Telegraph, he stated.

Adam claimed that when he learned he had been placed in the play, he was working a bar job at a nearby pub.

“My phone rang with the breaking news as I was serving drinks. After that phone call, it goes without saying that I needed a pint or two myself. I was anticipating and a little intimidated by the impending changes in my life “He informed the media outlet.

Stephanie, Rob’s new co-star, has experience in Australian television. Alongside Deborah-Lee Furness and Zoe Ventoura, she made appearances in the films My Life is Murder and Hyde & Seek.

But Stephanie’s role on Home and Away wasn’t without its challenges. After acquiring COVID, the WAAPA graduate revealed she was “devastated” that she couldn’t appear in person for her role’s audition.

Instead, she tried out during a tense Zoom meeting with a group of casting directors.

“FaceTiming me—something my agents never do—they informed me that I had landed the part. I was stunned beyond belief and ecstatic. It was an incredibly fantastic and bizarre experience, “She spoke.

On July 4, the fictitious band Lyrik will perform in Summer Bay for the first time. It follows the earlier this year departures of Sam Frost, Harley Bonner, Lukas Radovich, and Courtney Miller from the programme.
