The morning after the night before: Stars jet back to Sydney after a boozy Logie Awards – and some can’t wait to grab a Macca’s breakfast at the airport

The morning after the 2022 Logie Awards on the Gold Coast, a slew of Australian celebrities were sighted arriving in Sydney.

On Monday, celebrities such as Ada Nicodemou, Emma Watkins, Dr. Chris Brown, and Miguel Maestre were spotted wandering around Sydney Airport.

While many of them appeared sprightly and fresh-faced, there’s no doubt that a couple of them were nursing aching heads from the night before.

As she chatted with her Home and Away co-star Lynne McGranger, Ada looked stunning in a long black dress and brown coat.

Ray Meagher was also seen with a tiny suitcase and a cup of coffee in his hand.

In an all-white suit comprised of shorts and a flowy shirt, celebrity chef Miguel looked Mediterranean elegant.

He was accompanied by Dr. Chris Brown, the host of I’m a Celebrity, who was dressed casually in black trousers, sneakers, and a checkered shirt.

Emma Watkins, a former Yellow Wiggle, was also seen pushing her suitcase as she returned to Sydney.

In a long floral dress and comfortable white sneakers, the 32-year-old children’s performer looked fashionable.

Meanwhile, Patrick O’Connor from Home and Away couldn’t wait for a Macca’s breakfast after a night out.

At TV’s night of nights on the Gold Coast, Lego Masters host Hamish Blake received the Gold Logie for most popular personality on Australian television.

In his award speech, the Nine Network star admitted that the business has experienced some difficult times recently.

‘We’re very grateful to be able to do what we do… we’re quite fortunate to be able to continue working,’ he said.

Hamish also won the Logie for most popular presenter, which was renamed after late television legend Bert Newton and was presented by Newton’s widow Patti.
