Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and Alesha Dixon (UK music sensation) will join an all-star panel of Australian musicians, including Kate Ritchie and Shane Jacobson.

‘To say I enjoy the American Idol franchise is an understatement.’ ‘I’ve been a fan since the first season,’ Neil explained.

‘Australia has amazing talent in so many disciplines, and I couldn’t be more excited to join AGT in 2021 to witness what the country’s incredible candidates have to offer,’ he said.

‘I’m ecstatic to be joining the AGT panel,’ she remarked. I’m excited to see what Australia has to offer in terms of talent, and I’m looking forwards to working with my other judges.’

Filming for the new season will commence at the end of the month, with production taking place from June 30 to July 6 at the Star Event Centre in Sydney.
