The official engagement of Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Maloney) and Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden) on Neighbours has caused a LOT of excitement at Number 30.
Jackie Woodburne and Alan Fletcher’s characters, Karl and Susan Kennedy, join the happy couple in their celebration.
However, they fail to realise that Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton), Zara Selwyn (Freya Van Dyke), and Harold Bishop (Ian Smith), a visiting friend, aren’t very thrilled by the news.
Since Zara is aware on a subconscious level that Amy is in love with Toadie, she feels terrible for her mother.
Harold receives a complaint from Zara about the injustice of the circumstance.
Harold makes an effort to suppress his emotions.
Harold, however, finds it difficult to fully embrace the engagement after learning from Karl and Susan about Melanie’s scandalous prior relationship with her married boss.
Amy, who is currently having a major slump, finds an explanation to skip the festivities.
Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), the owner of Lassiters, is preoccupied with concerns about his son David Tanaka (Takaya Honda), who is incarcerated and awaiting sentencing. David Tanaka is currently in prison.
When a famously demanding guest who is attending an antiques conference at the hotel starts making unreasonable requests, Paul’s day takes a turn for the worst.
The Lassiters personnel is briefed by Paul on their responsibilities for the conference.
However, Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), his ex-wife, can tell that Paul is not mentally prepared for the additional stress of the conference.
She therefore sneaks in behind the scenes to assist Sam (Henrietta Graham), Chloe Brennan’s new assistant (April Rose Pengilly), in completing the task.
Terese adores returning to Lassiters, where she feels most at home, despite her and Paul’s painful breakup.
However, how will Paul respond if he learns that Terese came to the rescue after he made a kind offer to buy her OUT of Lassiters?
