Since leaving Ramsay Street in the late 1980s, Scott and Charlene (played by Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue) have been residing in Brisbane.
Despite the couple’s many mentions on television and the fact that their grown children, Madison and Daniel, eventually settled in Erinsborough, they have never been back—until NOW!
Yes, as was previously stated (the news caused a MASSIVE meltdown on the internet! ), the much-missed couple is back for the Australian soap’s final episode after 37 years and 8903 episodes.
So, WHY do Scott and Charlene return to their old neighbourhood now, all these years later?
Do they intend to purchase the former Ramsay home that is currently on the market?
An hour-long special Neighbours episode that airs at prime time will expose EVERYTHING!

While this is going on, Jane Harris (Annie Jones) and Mike Young (Guy Pearce), her ex-boyfriend, go on a nostalgic tour of all the Ramsay Street homes before they are put up for auction.
Old emotions start to resurface as Jane and Mike talk about their life in the 1980s.
When Clive Gibbons (Geoff Paine), who is still trying to save his relationship with Jane, begins to think that Mike could have plans to see Jane again, he is not pleased.
On the street, Clive approaches his opponent for his affection, and the drama begins!

Are you feeling nostalgic as former and current Ramsay Street residents share their stories for the book The History of Ramsay Street?
Harold Bishop (Ian Smith) begs Karl (Alan Fletcher) and Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) to take over as the new custodians of the history book as Toadie Rebecchi, the book’s longtime protector, plans to relocate.
When the time comes to record her own entry for the history book, Susan battles with her emotions as she watches her cherished friends and neighbours make plans to leave Ramsay Street.

The beginning of Toadie and Melanie Pearson’s (Lucinda Cowden) wedding forces Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) and Terese Willis, his sixth wife, to face their own unresolved emotions.
The pair has been on the verge of breaking up several times.
Is there any hope left for Paul and Terese as the long-running Australian soap opera comes to an end?

Neighbors: The Finale airs on Channel 5 on Friday, July 29 at 9:00 p.m.
