Neighbours spoilers: David Tanaka dead in huge tragedy as Emma McIver has him killed in prison?

In Neighbours, Emma McIver (Jessica Clarke) gives her prisoner friend Dan Waskett the order to kill David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) before the night is out.

As viewers are aware, Emma has been pressuring Freya Wozniak (Phoebe Roberts) to treat her friends who have been hurt in order to atone for her part in Gareth Bateman’s death.

Freya consented because she knew that if she didn’t, Emma would make sure David suffered while he was incarcerated.

The situation changed, though, when Freya was unavailable to help Emma last week because her court appearance was scheduled for the same day. As a result, Emma asserted her authority by having David targeted and put in prison.

While this was going on, David was offered the chance to win his freedom after Andrew Rodwell (Lloyd Will) assigned him to wear a wire while hurt in an effort to attempt and catch the dishonest guard on his wing.

However, David was left alone with prisoner Dan, who was holding him captive at Emma’s request, and horror ensued.

While this was happening, Emma barged into No. 24 and held Freya, Kiri Durant (Gemma Bird Mattheson), and later Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes) at gunpoint.

Freya emphasised her inability to do surgery at home when the villain ordered her to tend to her friend Austin Julians, who had sustained a serious gunshot wound.

In an effort to persuade Freya to do the surgery, Emma consequently called Dan, who then put David on the phone.

David’s situation looked bad in the “Coming Up” segment at the close of the programme, which teased what fans might anticipate from Wednesday’s (July 13) episode of the soap opera. Emma texts Dan telling him to kill David!

Is David’s end inevitable? Will Dan kill him in his hands?

Will Emma be able to be overpowered by Freya, Kiri, and Nicolette and warn the authorities that David is in immediate danger before it is too late?

Wednesday, July 13 at 1:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Channel 5, “Neighbours” resumes.
