Well, there’s now only one last week of Neighbours episodes left to savour, and we’re keeping the Kleenex on standby immediately! There are still unresolved issues, like Amy Greenwood’s (Jacinta Stapleton) mysterious disappearance and Paul’s (Stefan Dennis) confused emotions following the Robinson reunion, which saw his children convince him to move to New York. Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), who Paul is obviously not over, is not either.

Izzy Hoyland (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) wants to move to Ramsay Street, which enrages Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), and Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) is at a loss for words after Elly Conway (Jodi Gordon), her closest friend and ex-girlfriend, showed up to express her undying love for her. Chloe will undoubtedly have a large following of supporters!

While this is going on, her housemate Jane Harris and house brother Aaron (Matt Wilson and Takaya Honda) are pondering their own futures (Annie Jones). Additionally, Erinsborough continues to welcome back more well-known people, most notably Charlene and Scott Robinson classmates Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan!

You can already read the plot summary for Neighbours’ upcoming episode, but if you’d prefer a more thorough summary, check out our guide to find out everything you need to know about finale week.

Susan desires that Izzy not be around her relatives

In addition to learning that her husband’s ex-girlfriend was seeing their kid Mal (Benjamin McNair), Susan now knows that her enemy Izzy wants to buy Chloe’s house so they can move in together! Karl would prefer to be calm, but angry Susan has told aspiring real estate agent Paige Smith (Olympia Valance) not to sell to Izzy.

Will Paige obey Susan’s instructions? Paige had previously advised Izzy not to purchase the home because the Kennedys are a well-respected family in the neighbourhood. Will Susan’s scheme succeed? In any case, we are aware that she will make Mal choose between his fiancée and his parents. How will Mal respond? Will Izzy always be in Susan’s sphere of influence if she gets up to mischief the following week, or can Susan outwit her?

Chloe struggles with Elly’s revelation

Elly knocked on Chloe’s door, and she couldn’t believe what she was seeing! The reason Paige had been questioning Chloe about pulling a vanishing act following her visit is now clear. Paige had gone back to Erinsborough to sell Chloe’s house before the latter moved to Adelaide. It turned out that Chloe received a note from Elly stating that she had moved from Switzerland to Sydney after amicably divorcing Shaun Watkins, the father of daughter Aster (Brad Moller). So Chloe went to see her, and it seems like there was some passion.

Elly followed her home so that she could let Chloe know that while she wasn’t prepared to accept her sexuality during their previous relationship, she is now. Chloe is what she really wants, so she enquired about her willingness to relocate to Sydney in place of her. Chloe needed some time to reflect because there was a lot to process. Will Chloe decide to jump with Elly and live happily ever after? She’ll still be unsure about what to do next week.

Ahead of Toadie and Toadie’s wedding, Amy is missing in action

Amy has been shaken by her perception that she harbours love feelings for her closest friend Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney), and she has now revealed this to both of them, as well as Melanie Pearson, the bride-to-be (Lucinda Cowden). Amy was absolutely at a loss when she revealed the truth to the couple; she was unsure of what to do. She then escaped to Cairns with her daughter Zara Selwyn (Freya Van Dyke), who is ultimately to fault for the whole catastrophe.

Yashvi, Toadie’s niece, will assist Toadie and Mel as they get ready for their wedding (Olivia Junkeer). But as the event approaches, they will encounter unexpected difficulties that cause them to halt and wonder what in the world happened to Amy. When a further unexpected guest finds out that Amy has disappeared, will they be able to assist? Will everything go smoothly on the big day, and will Amy be able to see it? And does she genuinely love Toadie?

Aaron and David are thinking about making a significant shift

When David joined their virtual family reunion with dad Paul, he started to feel like he was missing out because almost all of his siblings were living it up in New York together. Aaron didn’t seem to have any objections when he later mentioned the prospect of migrating to the United States! Is that the end of that, though, with David and twin Leo (Tim Kano) eventually admitting that such a significant shift was unfeasible?

Isla’s mother, Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes), is one possible obstacle. She is the child’s parent. Then, however, Nic’s girlfriend Kiri Durant (Gemma Bird Matheson) abruptly said that she was going to join Terese and Glen Donnelly in returning to River Bend. Therefore, may Nicolette decide that it’s time for a change as well? After a challenging year, it appears that David and Aaron are still considering their options, so stay tuned to find out what they decide.

Terese and Paul are still pining for one another

While Terese and Glen are downsizing to buy River Bend, Paul is preparing to go to the US after agreeing to a deal to sell Lassiter’s Hotel to Shane Ramsay (Peter O’Brien). While Terese’s previous dedication to Paul has strained her relationship with Glen, Paul has realised that he and Terese are officially finished. The former lovers’ continued madly-in-love could not be clearer, and next week will see them in each other’s company once more.

While Glen comes to a difficult realisation, Paul and Terese will be forced to confront their emotions. So, will there be a sizable reunion? The stage is undoubtedly prepared in such manner, but it all relies on who will initiate contact. Will Terese be prepared to take a complete risk and go back to Paul?

Jane is still unsure of Clive

After his secrecy over her old acquaintance Danielle, Clive Gibbons (Geoff Payne) has yet to win Jane over. When Clive surprises Jane with a gesture, Jane is sidetracked by the appearance of ex-lover Mike Young (Guy Pearce). She and Mike are reminiscing when a jealous Clive steps in, sparking an argument.

After a recent altercation with daughter Nicolette, Jane is also concerned that she might be evolving into Nan Mrs Mangel. Will she reconcile with Clive and be able to make things right with her children? Or is there a chance that Mike and Jane are indeed meant to be together?

Charlene and Scott return

Whatever else occurs by the end of the following week, we can be confident that pop royalty Kylie and Jason will return to Ramsay Street for the climactic moments. Scott and Charlene appear to be still blissfully married after 35 years, and they’ve returned home to share the happiness.

If the rumour about the pair’s final comments on Neighbours is accurate, it provides us with a crystal-clear explanation for their return home. Every other return has been flawlessly woven into the programme, so trust us when we say that this one will be no different.
