Another newcomer is ready to join the cast of Home and Away, and Summer Bay is going to love her!
Channel Seven said on Wednesday that actress Juliet Godwin, who was born in Zimbabwe, will play Dr. Bree Cameron.
After the Commonwealth Games in August, when the popular soap opera resumes production after a brief break, Juliet’s first scenes will show.
The 28-year-old was first seen in late March of this year filming surfing scenes on location in Palm Beach, Sydney.
Juliet will be making her debut on Home and Away, much like many other Summer Bay celebrities before her.
In the 2020 season of the ABC drama series The Heights, the blonde bombshell played the supporting character of Cara.
Juliet, who was reared in Perth, described joining the Home and Away family as a “dream come true.”
“It is such a gift that I am able to get up, go to work, and do what I love every day. I’m incredibly appreciative of this chance. Everyone is really kind there. Working with such excellent actors is always enjoyable for me “She spoke to Perth Now.
Juliet, who completed her acting training at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts before relocating to Sydney, also provided some insight into her new role.
“Bree does arrive at the bay prepared for a new beginning. Bree is a down-to-earth surfer girl with a “heart of gold,” she said, adding that when she saw there was a job opening in Summer Bay, she immediately applied.”
Following the departure of many of the soap’s major actors in 2022, Juliet makes her Home and Away debut.
Earlier this year, Courtney Miller, Harley Bonner, Lukas Radovich, Rob Kipa-Williams, and Sam Frost all left their positions.
Recent additions to the cast of Home and Away include Rob Mallet, Angelina Thomson, Adam Rowland, and Stephanie Panozzo, who came to the Bay as members of the fictional band Lyrik.
