Sarah Roberts, a former star of Home and Away, paid a moving tribute to her late brother Karl De Abrew.

Karl lost his battle with brain cancer three years ago in 2019, after 15 years of treatment. Dad was able to accompany Sarah down the aisle when she wed James Stewart in Ireland just three months before he passed away.

She sent a touching video of the siblings together, from their early years through Sarah’s wedding, along with a tearjerking caption.

“Today marks three years since your departure, but the benefit of memories is that they last forever. I can carry you around with me like a picture,” she said.

“I can concentrate on the memories and journey through the years when my heart is heavy and my eyes are wet. My mind may travel back to joyful days when you were here and my misery was lessened by the sounds of laughter.

Ada Nicodemou, who portrays Leah on the serial opera, wrote: “Sending you tonnes of love today.”

Mahesh Jadu, a cast member of Neighbours, added, “Warmth and a prayer flying his way, and yours.”

The post received comments from Sarah’s supporters endorsing the actress.
