James Stewart of Home and Away, who is starring in the Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest this weekend, saw The Disaster Artist on his Thursday flight to Perth, where he learnt the skill of acting poorly. Forget Oscar winners Oppenheimer or Poor Things.

Along with Matthew and Grace Hayden, the Summer Bay mainstay is an official ambassador and is “super stoked” to be attending the event for the first time.

“I’m from Queensland and I don’t really like prawns, but I love fish and I just recently started eating crab,” he remarked.

Motivated by a friend who spent his childhood crabbing on the productive sandbanks of Mandurah, the beach-dweller accepts invites to get his hands filthy in multiple capacities.
