Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor), Mackenzie’s brother, is also concerned.
He assumes Nathan is being threatened for money by someone else.

Meanwhile, Mackenzie’s outstanding rent for leasing her restaurant space from the Surf Club remains unresolved.
John Palmer (Shane Withington), the owner of the Surf Club, had already told Mackenzie to pay up.
She can’t since she handed Nathan the rent money to pay off his debt.
When Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) comes racing into Salt to address the unpaid rent, she’ll have to talk her way out of danger.
