Home and Away Spoilers – Who dies as Stevie’s stalker returns?

As Stevie’s stalker flees and heads straight to the bay this week on Home and Away in Australia, at least one fan favorite won’t make it through the week—but who?

This week, tragedy strikes Summer Bay as Catherine Van-Davies’s portrayal of Stevie Marlow comes to a terrible end.

For almost three months, Cash (played by Nicholas Cartwright) has served as the well-known actress’ personal bodyguard. He was called in after she was being stalked by Sidney Wickham (Joshua McElroy).

The loss of her friend and loss Throes co-star Crystal (Sheridan Harbridge), who fell off a cliff, had already made Stevie uneasy.

Although Stevie believed that Crystal would never have walked too close to the edge, the authorities ultimately declared her death to be an accident.

Following her stalker’s successful tracking of Stevie to the new hotel Cash had put her in for protection, Stevie moved in with Cash and his sister Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) in Summer Bay while the investigation was still going on.

Knowing that the police would no longer consider her case, Stevie was saddened when the results of the inquest into Crystal’s death were finally released.

After Cash was fired, Stevie decided to resume her regular life and made plans to go to a press conference promoting her next romantic comedy All Our Tomorrows.

When Cash heard that she was planning to attend, he was appalled and went along to make sure she was safe even though he was no longer working for her.

His suspicions were validated when Sidney sprang at Stevie from the crowd as she was greeting fans outside the hotel. Before anything bad could happen, Cash managed to yank Stevie out of the way. He then pursued, eventually cornering and capturing Sidney in a parking lot.

After the police discovered a plethora of incriminating evidence at Sidney’s home, including a collection of guns, the case appeared to be closed when Sidney was arrested and placed on remand.

But this is Home and Away’s criminal justice system we’re talking about… and with the climactic scenes being filmed publicly on Palm Beach back in December, we already knew the outcome of this story before Stevie had even arrived on-screen.

This week, Cash is horrified to learn from his bosses at the security agency that Sidney is somehow no longer on remand!

Knowing that Stevie is filming on the beach, completely out in the open, Cash races down there.

Meanwhile, as seen in a promo released last week, Sidney has already made his way to Summer Bay, carrying a bag containing one of his firearms.

However, we are discussing the criminal justice system in Home and Away here. And since the grand finale was being recorded for public release on Palm Beach back in December, we already knew how this tale would end before Stevie appeared on television.

This week, Cash gets the horrifying news from his security agency masters that Sidney is, for some reason, off remand!

Cash rushes down to the beach, knowing that Stevie is shooting there, in full view.

In the meantime, Sidney has already traveled to Summer Bay, as seen in a preview that was made public last week. He is carrying a bag that has one of his guns.

Mid-scene, Sidney is lurking in the sand dunes, focusing on his prey as an unwary Stevie stands on the beach.

Cash calls Stevie’s name as he rushes down the trail. But as soon as he gets close to her, a shot is fired, frightening everyone.

Felicity calls Tane (Ethan Browne), who is dressed professionally for his own court appearance, as the police fast arrive and disperse throughout the neighborhood to conduct a search.

She informs him that there was a shooting and that the shooter is still at large.

Tane turns around at that precise moment and sees Sidney stealthily moving his weapon bag across the parkland.

Tane is the one who, of course, ends up pursuing the gunman while a terrified Flick watches from the other end of the phone.

Tane is left fighting for his life in a vicious brawl that breaks out as he finally catches up to Sidney.

Flick rushes to the scene out of concern for her ex-husband, placing herself in risk in the process.

Is the death of several Summer Bay favourites imminent?

Because of the filming that took place in Palm Beach, as we have previously reported, we already know that Stevie does not survive.

A few moments after the filming concluded, a number of characters, including James Stewart’s character Justin and actors Ray Meagher and Roo (Georgie Parker), were spotted on the beach next to an unofficial shrine. A little box with the words “RIP Stevie” written on it was surrounded by flowers and plush toys, holding a portrait of Stevie.

Tane and Felicity do survive, though, as evidenced by the photo of the two taken on our own trip to Palm Beach back in March.

Returning to the Bay

Is there a chance that this potentially fatal incident will serve as a spark to reunite the two?
