Home and Away Spoilers – Tane clashes with the police over Maia

Tane risks everything this week on Home and Away in Australia in an attempt to be closer to Maia, while Cash’s choice may put Cash and Eden’s relationship to the test.

Tane (Ethan Browne) has been harbouring an unhealthy attachment to the newborn ever since he discovered it abandoned on the seashore a few weeks ago.

Tane ignored the worries of others around him, explaining that when you have a baby, you should do all it takes to care for them, regardless of the expense, while they explained that the mother or father who abandoned the child was probably going through a difficult time.

Before long, he was spending all day and night at the hospital, unable to leave her side while Rose (Kirsty Marillier) started her parents’ quest.

After all, Tane had given the baby the Maori name meaning bravery, Maia. Rose had clarified that the name should never leave the hospital room since it might cause the child’s real parents to feel even more estranged from them, but word quickly got out.

By asking Dana (Ally Harris) out for a drink and giving her the impression that he was interested in her romantically, Peter Rolfe, a journalist for the Coastal News, fooled Dana into disclosing the baby’s new name and Tane’s bond to her.

Soon after, a harsh piece that questioned Tane’s preoccupation with infant Maia and pointed out that both of his late brothers, Mikaere and Ari (Rob Kipa Williams), had served time in prison, painted Tane as the villain.

When Dana learned she had been duped, she was distraught, and when she went to apologise to Tane in the hospital, he gave her a hard time.

Tane had been thinking about taking on the role of emergency foster carer for the infant, but he quickly found out from Harper (Jessica Redmayne) that he couldn’t because he didn’t have permanent status in Australia.

In an attempt to mend the emotional rift with her divorced husband, Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) momentarily entertained the idea of raising Maia herself, but Tane quickly shot her down.

Tane reacted angrily when the Coastal News journalist later showed up at Northern Districts demanding to be given an opportunity to respond, and when Peter filed a complaint, he was expelled from the hospital. He was getting so attached to this baby, and all of a sudden he could not even go see him.

TV Week claims that as Maia becomes ill, Tane will have an altercation with the police in this week’s episodes.

This week, Maia experiences a change in her health as she gets a high temperature. Tane starts to panic and runs to Northern Districts demanding to see her, despite Dana’s best efforts to reassure her that there is nothing to worry about.

Doctors and police soon approach him, warning him that if he doesn’t leave, they would have to issue an AVO (Apprehended Violence Order) against him.

Tane’s intuition tells him to ignore them, even though he knows he should listen to them.

Will his attachment to Maia lead him to make a foolish decision?

While all of this is going on, Roo (Georgie Parker) keeps thinking about adopting Maia. She realised that it might actually work when Tane proposed it to her last week after she yelled in frustration that “there must be someone out there.”

This week, Alf (Ray Meagher) tells Roo, “It’s a matter of whether or not you can take on a baby,” during their discussion of the audacious plan with his daughter.

“Well, I believe I can,” replies Roo.

The finding of the infant has evoked sad memories for Roo, who gave up her own daughter Martha for adoption back in 1988, as has been noted in passing since the plot began.

Will she view raising Maia as a means of atoning for her previous deeds?

This week, Cash (played by Nicholas Cartwright) also takes a risky decision that can further disrupt his relationship with Eden (Stephanie Panozzo).

For the past few weeks, former senior constable Cash has been acting as Stevie Marlow’s (Catherine Văn-Davies) bodyguard. Stevie needs protection from a stalker who has been making her life unbearable.

Since the stalker was still at large, Cash insisted that Stevie move off her very visible yacht and into an unidentified hotel apartment.

Eden, Cash’s fiancée, was first thrilled that he was taking care of a star, but she soon became weary of the long hours as Cash catered to Stevie’s requests for ever-increasing amounts of time.

A teddy bear that had been donated by a fan via her agency showed up outside the apartment door last week, putting the two in danger.

When Cash carefully unsewn it, she discovered a camera inside. Soon after, a raw picture of the two went viral on social media with the comment, “Eyes on Stevie and her boyfriend.”

Cash freaks out as another picture of them with the message “I know where you are” surfaces on the’steviemarlowfan2346′ account this week. It shows the outside of the hotel where they are staying. They’ve been located!

He determines that hiding out at his Summer Bay home, where the stalker would never consider looking, is the best course of action for her.

How would Eden respond if the actress moves in with Cash and Stevie? She’s already starting to get jealous of how much time they spend together.
