On the television show Home and Away, Cash Newman (played by Nicholas Cartwright) is prepared to pop the question to Jasmine Delaney (1:45pm – see our TV Guide for listings).
For the previous few weeks, Jasmine has been out of town working on Wendy and Ian Shaw’s farm with her ex-in-laws.
Cash begins to wonder why Jasmine hasn’t come home yet as he waits at the beach house with flowers, champagne, and an engagement ring.
Policeman Cash becomes concerned that Jasmine has been injured after failing to reach his girlfriend on the phone.
Felicity (Jacqui Purvis), Cash’s sister, cautions him against making snap judgments.
Eden Fowler (Stephanie Panozzo), Cash’s former flame, discovers him meditating on the beach.
Cash tells Eden that he is beginning to worry the worst.
Is it time to file a missing person’s report for Jasmine?
Theo Poulos is beginning to feel the burden of being the new lead singer of Lyrik (Matt Evans).
The group’s upcoming performance is scheduled for Salt.
Theo does not appear, however, as the restaurant’s sound check begins.
After Chloe Anderson’s abrupt departure from Summer Bay, his lover, he is still shaken up.
Emily Weir’s character, the restaurant manager Mackenzie Booth, is not amused by Theo’s improper conduct.
But Kirby Aramoana, a band member, is confident Theo will show up and everything will be OK on the night (Angelina Thomson).
Theo may be in over his head, though, so is that possible?
Theo was encouraged to try out for Lyrik by Justin Morgan (James Stewart), which still irks Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman).
Theo should be focusing on finishing his mechanic apprenticeship at the shop.
There appears to be potential trouble ahead…
