Chloe (Sam Barrett) and Theo (Matt Evans) had a tumultuous history that began when he arrived in the Bay and quickly took a shine to her – so much so that following her breakup with Ryder, he seized the opportunity to kiss her (Lukas Radovich). Since then, the two have grown apart, especially after Theo and Ryder’s prank challenge videos went awry and Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) died.
Theo is looking for Leah (Ada Nicodemou) in the Diner when he runs into Chloe, and the two decide to have lunch together. They are shocked to notice a rising warmth between them over their lunch. Since they initially met, Theo has matured and has become less cocky. He’s also sorted out a lot of his life now that he’s working at Justin’s garage (James Stewart).
Both, though, are dealing with their own issues. Since Ari’s death, Chloe has been clinging to her, and when Bella (Courtney Miller) discovers that her friend lied to her face about going to patch things up with Mia (Anna Samson), she tells her that it’s time for her to go home and figure out her family life. Chloe is enraged and refuses Dean’s offer of a ride, opting instead to walk along the long country road.

Theo’s automobile draws up alongside her as she walks. He’s trying to get away from an intense confrontation he just had with his father, Dimitri, who has arrived in the Bay enraged. He lifts her up, and they find comfort in one another. Chloe welcomes him back into the house and kisses him on the cheek before guiding him into her room…
Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) is disgusted when he enters into the house and sees a topless Theo. Is it true that that just happened? Chloe breaks down when Theo leaves, worried she’s made a mistake. Nikau backs her up, but Bella is the one she really wants. After storming out the previous day, she returns to the Farm House and informs Bella she made a horrible, impulsive decision, making Bella feel terrible. The next morning, she writes in her notebook that she has no regrets about sleeping with Theo… What is Chloe’s current game?
