The following is the Home and Away schedule for the week starting on Monday, April 24.

After exhausting all possible avenues to find Ava, Justin is enraged to return home and find his teenage daughter chit-chatting with Leah in the kitchen. His pursuit of her has spoiled his evening, and Kirby and Theo’s date has been practically cancelled. Over coffee in the morning, Kirby corrects Ava and tells her that her teeny-tiny crush on Theo will never amount to anything. Ava immediately responds by saying that Kirby’s time as Theo’s girlfriend is running out. Kirby is alarmed, so she decides to look into the matter and searches Ava’s bag. There, she finds a scrapbook containing numerous images and sketches of Theo.

The following morning, Rose and Mali are enjoying a romantic night in bed after finally moving their relationship further when a loud knock on the door abruptly interrupts them. Mali leaps to his feet when he hears a woman’s voice because he instantly recognises her and tells Rose to put on some clothes. Mali introduces Rose to his older sister Elandra before the two leave the caravan. Rose flees in a hurry out of sheepishness, but Elandra won’t let Mali off that lightly. She wants to know why he supposedly left his life behind in Mantary Point for some woman. And why hasn’t he disclosed anything to his family? Mali is being made to take responsibility, and he must respond to some difficult questions.

Gabe receives a difficult pill from Ziggy.
Dean can no longer lie to his girlfriend about Gabe’s condition because he has already told Mackenzie the truth about it. Mackenzie is aware that she might lose her partner, but she attempts to remain positive and explores her therapy choices. Gabe informs her that he has undergone chemotherapy before and that it was agonising; thus, he would not be receiving treatment this time. Dean asks Ziggy how Maggie’s chemotherapy treatment went. Mackenzie can manage going through chemotherapy, but she can’t handle Gabe giving up, Ziggy tells Gabe when they speak. Will he reconsider for the sake of the lady he loves?

Bella finally tells Nikau how she really feels.
Nikau is having a difficult time coming to terms with the fact that he is only Bella’s buddy, and he feels even worse when he finds out that Bella has cancelled her farewell party. Nikau takes it personally and assumes she doesn’t want to say goodbye to him since she didn’t realise she had done it because she can’t manage the emotional burden. But John Palmer quickly steps in to straighten out the tangled wiring. Because of his involvement, Bella suddenly appears at Nikau’s door, calling him an idiot and announcing that she doesn’t know how to say goodbye because she still loves him.

Nikau drastically alters his life for his lover.

Nikau enthusiastically grabs Bella in his arms after learning that she shares his feelings for him, and the two end up in his bedroom. Bella claims she could stay in bed with him forever in the morning. Until Bella drops a bombshell, Nikau is unsure of how they will manage a long-distance relationship once Bella returns to New York. What if he travelled with Nikau? Nikau is eager to accept as he recognises that this is his chance to put love first. He knows that Tane is the one challenge he must overcome. Will his uncle approve of him migrating to another continent?

Tane bids the final member of his family farewell.
Tane is immediately opposed to the idea when Nikau tells him that he wants to go to New York with Bella. He is unable to see clearly due to the effects of the breakup with Felicity, and he doesn’t believe Nikau should put his faith on romantic relationships. John, though, enters a little later to reason with him. Nikau and Tane are catching up to John and Bella as they are driving from the Bay to the airport when they hear honking behind them.

Tane is seeing his nephew go for a bright future while smiling and waving from outside, but on the inside, he recognises he is the last Parata left in the Bay. Tane has packed his bags and is eager to begin his new life in the Big Apple.

Dean learns that Jai and Amber are relocating across the nation.
When Amber calls Dean and Ziggy to tell them she has a job in Far North Queensland and would be transferring herself and Jai there in a week, Dean and Ziggy are shocked. Dean is devastated because the trip there takes 21 hours. He will never see his son again! Ziggy has a lot to say to Amber, but she is at a loss for words. But after lashing out at Jai’s mother, Ziggy learns nothing has changed. Dean and his son are being split apart…How can they help?
